Rated 1 out of 5 by from Almost like chalky marker I bought this back in 2014. I always go back and see if i can figure out how to get it to work for me, but it doesn't seem to work. I feel that its too thick, almost like those face paint crayons. It doesnt blend well either. I purchased a dark shade to use for contouring however because of the texture and hardness, it takes a LOT of blending to get the contour lines smoothed out. I'm the type of person who will use blushes as eyeshadow , vice versa, and for contouring i use the dark brown eye shadow for contouring and i think it works great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from For a makeup artist it's an extravaganza! I brought this product to promote to my clients that it doesn't cost a lot of money to get a high end , beautiful and natural looking face. My client, a sufferer of acne, had a beautiful, moisturised and full coverage face. I also sell makeup products or give away samples of the contents I use on their faces and guess what she wanted me to place an order. One happy client is a happy MUA. I've also had great experiences with E.L.F too. Also the foundation that fights acne is really a must buy too, so yeah you can never go wrong with elf :)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Almost chalky I bought this a few weeks ago on sale. I'm glad I did. I've tried it a few time to give it the benefit of the doubt but it's just not working for me at all. The foundation is almost chalky and honestly makes me look older than I am. I'm only 24 so that is definitely not what I want my makeup to do for me. Elf does have other foundations that I love though! But this one just isn't for me. It brought out every little thing on my face that I was trying to mask.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No. Just... no. For the first 30 minutes after you put this on, it looks fine. After that, every imperfection in your skin (every flake, large pore, etc.) is now coated/filled with elf Studio Moisturizing Foundation Stick, emphasizing them in the most unflattering way. This must be made for teens with flawless skin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So moisturizing and smooth! Great coverage! This is my favorite foundation! My second favorite foundation is Dior Airflash, which costs about $62. I have been on the hunt for something more affordable, and this foundation is even better on my skin than Dior Airflash, a tiny fraction of the cost! This foundation doesn't cause my combination skin to get flakey in the dry patches and the areas around my nose. It goes on smoothly and moisturizes beautifully. The only thing is that my oily areas can get oily midway through the day, but I don't blame this foundation; I just need to find an effective mattifying powder. The coverage is fantastic; I don't even use concealer when I use this foundation - this takes care of all my blemishes. The price of this foundation cannot be beaten and the quality is AMAZING. I highly recommend this! Don't hesitate!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ladies, ,,this is a must If any ladies out there are looking into or wanting to try getting the high end facial contouring kits....this works just so well. I buy one in ivory and one in coffee....they do as well to contour as the most touted expensive "kits". I don't think any of you would be sorry ,,,and at this won't break the bank!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from beautiful quality unfortunately, I bought a shade much too dark for me so i couldn't enjoy this to its fullest but the quality is great! it blends wonderfully I just wish I had bought a lighter shade.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from oily, not good with sun burn, good color it is great not the best for summer but it is good. if you have oily skin it is not the best

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not good for dry skin, no coverage I have fairly dry skin and this just emphasized every flake possible. The coverage isn't great; you don't get much color out of it unless you put on 3-4 layers. It could be an okay product if you're looking to just even out your skin and you already have very moisturized/oily skin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Truly moisturizing, medium coverage, easy to apply I bought "Tan" and so far, so good. I have very dry skin so stick foundations are so much better than even liquid foundations. I would describe this foundation as only medium coverage; while it minimized my under-eye circles and acne scars, it didn't make them disappear but based on my experience purchasing both drugstore and department store foundations, there really isn't a foundation that 100% completely covers up. Luckily I wasn't looking for a miracle, just a way to minimize things. The only downside is that while this foundation kept my desperately dry skin from drying out, when I applied it under my eyes, it made my waterproof mascara smudge. By the end of the day, while my skins was moisturized and nicely toned, my under eyes were smudge with mascara! If you are going to put this foundation under your eyes, I'd recommend setting it with a little powder and using a light hand. But overall, a fantastic buy seeing as I had been in the market for a stick foundation for a while. All of the other brands I saw either had bad formulations (not moisturizing enough) or were too expensive. Thanks ELF!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible. I bought this two weeks ago and it came in the mail. I am bi-racial, and my sister is white. This shade looked awful on me. it was perfect on my sister though. Shade is misleading.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works really well. I just got my order with this product, and tried it for the first time yesterday. It worked beautifly. Application was quick and easy. Coverage is medium but doesn't feel heavy. The color blended into my skin perfectly. I applied the mineral pearls over top as a finishing powder and it wore well, all day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great as a contour cream Bought this for an easy contour cream. Bought the coffee as I'm olive complected and it blends great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have an oily skin and sometimes it gets so oily that I can't even put on my daily cream. So, these times I prefer to put on this stick foundation instead of a liquid one because it is dry and it helps my skin look matte. Great coverage, lasts a long time, blends easily and the product is bigger than I expected!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK I like that the foundation is very soft, moisturizing and blendable. Feels very nice on the skin and it's great to use it with the beautifully bare blending brush. However the pigmentation is not so good, it did not cover my spots well and I had to go over the areas many times to get a satisfactory coverage. It also starts to smear when worn for more than 5 hrs or so and looks cakey on oily areas. However, its still good to use during cooler weather as it has a moisturizing effect so I'll continue to use it, just not for the whole day!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Found my favorite foundation! This has easily become my favorite daily wear foundation. Coverage and texture is excellent: creamy and blendable, but it can still be layered on problem areas (like dark circles). I use it in combination with ELF's HD Powder and find it to be one of the best ways to smooth my complexion. Would absolutely buy again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy To Apply This foundation stick is multi purpose. I bought the lightest and the darkest shades to use for contouring and highlighting. And for a fraction of what I would pay for other brands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it I love all their foundation sticks. I can use them to contour or highlight and they work really well. I own the Tan, Ivory and Almond shades and I love all of them. Just be careful when you close it that you push the product back down, otherwise it will get smushed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great foundation It covers well, and feels very light on the face. You don't have to use much for face coverage.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great foundation Love the way this goes on. I purchased the almond shade, slightly darker than my skin tone. I also purchased a shade lighter. That was too light. So I use the almond. It blends well, so a little will go a long way.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect Color I have difficulty finding a shade light enough for my skin AND a quick and easy application. ELF stick foundation used sparingly in "Ivory" is perfect for my sensitive skin. I would give it a dozen stars if only it had at least a 15 or 20 SPF. I've had 4 skin cancer surgeries and do not leave the house without an SPF. I balk at having to use a base of an SPF moisturizer when I have discovered a foundation that works like magic in practically no time at all!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use I bought this a few weeks ago. I love it. Easy to apply . I have oily skin and this stays on without becoming oily or greasy on my face after wearing it all day.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Color was very off This is meant for more dryer skin types, that a want a good coverage. I don't recommend this foundation for oily skin, I was an absolute mess after a couple hours of wearing this and I always use a setting powder. I did find that the color was very off, I get everything fit for more olive skin tones, so I decided caramel would suit. It was very light more like beige. I couldn't even wear this in the winter. Anyways this foundation broke me out because I was more oily after an attempted full day of wearing this.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I wanted to love this but... When i first put this on, it was so smooth and soft. I thought i was really going to like it, but after about 30 minutes, my skin felt dry, itchy, and almost like a burning sensation. I didn't want to give up on it the first time i tried it, so i tried it again the next day and sure enough, the same feeling came. I am allergic to mango's and when my skin comes in contact with the sap, it feels the same way as when i put this foundation on. So maybe there is something in the formula that i am allergic to?!?!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from not my color, but I really liked this foundation I just ordered the wrong color. I was very easy to applys and blends well. applysi think this would be great for travel. Also would work well for contours.
