Rated 5 out of 5 by from The BEST This is hands down the BEST eyeshadow primer I've used. It makes my eyeshadow color pop and stays on for 12+ hours. It's AMAZING!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tossed it. It wasn't all that great. It was like I hadn't applied primer at all. I bought the NYX Glitter Primer based on the Ulta reviews and it seems to live up to the hype. As for ELF, the Lock and Seal is awesome for keeping shadows in place.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tried it did not like it! I used this for over a week when my lance primer was done. It caked up and my eyeshadows creased.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Helped my eyeshadows really pop but found that after a few hours my eyeshadow began creasing. I would not recommend using this on its own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great I love glitter, and I have found this product to help it stay on longer. Once you apply the shadow it does not fall off as much as it does with out help. I even you it with regular eyeshadow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing!!!! This product is absolutely amazing I compared it with my too faced glitter primer and it literally worked the absolute same. Long lasting and helps the glitter adhere to your eyelid. Definitely would recommend this over the too faced. Very affordable and works the exact same!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome I needed something to help with a few pigments I had bought and I saw this and it was so inexpensive I thought why not. I will continue to buy this until they stop selling it and if they did I would be really disappointed. It's tacky but not too tacky. It's easy to work with. I can't say enough good things about it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It really works fantastic At first I was a little bit skeptical about trying this primer but for the price I gave it a shot! Let me tell you I'm honestly glad I did. This works better than Urban decay eye primer. This primer was non oily and it dries quick making it easy to apply eye make up quick. It made my eye makeup last without creasing!!! It is not shimmering... I luv this!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Bang for your $$$ This is one of those products I can't live without! I use this as a glitter glue and it works fabulously. And for only $2 you can't go wrong. I use a little dab wherever I want glitter and it works well using my finger or a brush. Then I just dab a little glitter on top and it lasts all day! I haven't tried it as an eyeshadow primer, I think it would be a little too sticky for me, but I've been recommending this to anyone who loves glitter or shimmer pigments.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes a difference I've tried a few different primers before and this one really works the best for me. It seems to make the eye shadow last much longer than the other ones I've used! For $2 this is a great deal. I recommend it for everyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worth the $2 For $2 it is a great deal. I wouldn't say it is the best primer ever, but for the price, you can't argue with the amazing quality. I am now biased to this. I use it just for a regular eye primer and the colors lock in so well on my eye lids when I use this. The colors stay overnight even. It is sheer, no pearl shine or sparkles. It is thicker, so you don't need much. I highly you suggest using this. No need to pay a ridiculous amount again for eye shadow primers!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Will definitely repurchase I like this as much as my $26 Trish Mcevoy eye primer, sometimes I like it more. I have super oily almost-monolid eyelids so I can't wear anything on my eyes without a very good primer, and this one works. It goes on a little goopy and turns tacky as it dries which sounds unpleasant but I find it really helps grab onto pigment to give me a really nice application no matter the eyeshadow. I'm able to pack on a good deal of color, and it even works perfectly under and in both corners of the eye. With a $2 price tag its a no brainer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hands down my favourite eye primer! I actually don't use this primer for glitter, but instead use it for my everyday regular eyeshadows. That being said the way I use eyeshadow is a little different from most, so I can't talk about blending so much. Otherwise I prefer this over the regular elf eye primers. It's a lot of product for very cheap, and I find it helps keep my shadows in place great all day since it's so sticky. I'd recommend this primer over their regular ones any day!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I so hoped it would work :( I have been using this everyday for 2 weeks and 5 hours in to my work shift my shadows crease or wear away. I have tried this with all *types* of shadow from matte to shimmer and it fails every time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from works not just for glitter but eyeshadow!! Update: In my previous review I said it doesn't work well with matte shadows or for blending. And i mainly use mattes. Well it does! It takes a tiny dot on each eye, apply evenly a thin layer, wait 10 seconds apply your loose pigments or glitter then once youre done with that proceed to work your matte or shimmer shadows and you can absolutely blend them. I used to use this mainly on the lid where i apply the pigment and id use another primer for shadow on the rest of the lid. Ever since I ran out of my high end one Im using the ELF glitter primer on my entire eye area and I found out it works perfect. If it doesn't work for you its prolly cuz you applied too much or you didn't let it sit for a few seconds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Words can not describe how well this works I was iffy about purchasing this, but for 2 dollars I thought why not. I love sparkles on my eyes. I did my makeup at about 5 pm and went out drinking for the night, I danced the whole night and was sweating by the end of it. I went to sleep with my makeup on and woke up the next day at about 12 pm and my makeup was almost perfect.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Awful This made my eyeshadow crease so much. I have never had eyeshadow crease as much as I did when I used this. Used it once and tossed it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Holy cow! I got this to try in my latest after reading the rave reviews, and I have to say that this was by far the most impressive product in the box. It goes on a bit sticky at first (like drying glue). Be sure to use just a little, and you smooth it with your finger. This held on to loose glitter, glitter shadows, and even my regular shadow! While the shadow lock primer has been a favorite of mine for everyday use, this is by far the superior primer when it comes to holding on to your shadow and making the colors stay put and even POP.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It does its work well! I got this few days ago and gave it a serious test today: I had my eyeshadow on and needed to do physical work for some time. After this, shopping and lunch I came home to find out that my eyeshadow was in place, very nice:) And it actually takes one teeeeny tiny drop and it looks like it'll last forever.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best of the best Id buy 100 of these to last me a lifetime and they will. You only need a tiny dot on each lid and all sparkly or metallic pigments and loose glitters superfine, fine or sugars will adhere for 15 hours+ (yes I wore my eye make up for 15 hrs straight lol). Other glitter primers (such as the LA girl) have caused my eyelids to burn, become swollen itchy and red so I had to switch to something that provides intensity yet it is smooth on the lids. Others like the Too faced one or the Milani don't make the pigments pop. This primer beats them all high end or not. It doesn't make the shadows or glitters darker only intensifies them. I also skip the liquid sugar, no need. remember its mainly for glitter, therefore you wont be able to blend your matte or other eyeshadow as well. I also use it on my lower lashline for the eyeshadow.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Holds color well I use this as a primer for regular shadow instead of glitter. It makes colors pop and it's a good primer for the price but, it is really tacky feeling. Kind of like rubbing a glue stick on your eyelids. I imagine that's because it's made for glitter though! I will continue using it because I love the way it makes my shadow stand out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best I haven't tried other ELF lid primers yet... but if they are half the great than this one, they worth 10 times the money!A really small amount of this on your lids and your shadows will last forever! I once felt asleep after a party night without removing my makeup (by mistake) and next morning my eyes were perfect. The only downside is, if you made a mistake with your shadows, you will have a really hard time "erasing" it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've been using for a few months now, and am so impressed!! I apply with finger, smooth let set of a minute. I apply my makeup everyday around 5:30am and usually take it off sometime between 9-10. This primer has not failed me yet. My eyes look almost as fresh at night as in the morning. I have found this primer to work great with all types of eyeshadow.
