Rated 5 out of 5 by from I usually never wear foundation because it just doesnt work with my skin or i can never find one i liked but I recommend this one! Sometimes its a little thick and a little hard to get off but its amazing! I would buy again and maybe try a couple more foundations

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it I got this about last summer, I would think. I needed a cheap foundation that I wouldn't mind if it got lost when I was going to Europe and I picked this up in sand. I loved it. Applies great when you blend it with a beauty blender. In the winter I've been using porcelain and sand when I get on the tan side and it's fantastic.I've got oily skin in the summer and dry in the winter, and it is a bit more difficult with my dry skin because it looks a bit flakey if I don't exfoliate properly. It sets lovely in the summer time with an HD powder and some setting spray.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like it I bought this in porcelain, I have light to medium and at first it goes on a bit lighter than the other foundations I have purchased in the same color. I have combination skin, it is a bit on the heavy side at first application but as it sets, it matches my skin tone and turns from cream to matte. For acne prone skin it would be good for concealing coverage but being that it is a cream (even oil free) it might be too heavy for acne prone skin causing breakouts. I don't have a problem with it, but I do not have sensitive skin. I used the stippling brush to apply and it comes out more matte than if I used the sponge that it comes with. The sponge however, will blend it easier and won't leave you with a powdery look.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from AWFUL I bought this a few weeks ago and when I applied it it felt amazing. It was great full coverage but when it set and I touched my skin it felt disgusting. When I looked in the mirror after 2 hours, it looked like all of my skin was peeling off. It was the most disgusting thing I have ever put on my face.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good foundation! It goes on smoothly with buildable coverage. I wish it came in more colors, but still easy enough to blend. I set with the HD powder and it lasts all day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really love this product for several reasons I have normal skin and like good coverage that doesn't look heavy and fake. I was pleasantly surprised at how well this covers and stays on all day. I find it comparable to some very expensive makeup I purchased in the past. More importantly, finding a truly neutral beige that blends with my skin and is not pink in any way, has always been a challenge for me. I tend to like something that leans more toward yellow undertones to correct some blotchy imperfections. I love the coverage, blend ability, color (sand), and at a great price. I pair this with the e.l.f. high definition concealer for dark circles and just a touch of HD powder to set. Goes on smoothly and quickly. Just thrilled. I've found my perfect foundation. Please keep making this!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for doing cream/foundation conturing This was the lightest of the foundations I got. I also got Almond and Caramel. The are very creamy. I didn't find them as mattifying as other foundations I have used. It did however wear very well. It is good on my combination skin. I wasn't sure what to think but at the affordable price I figured I would give it a try. It has been a few years since I have purchased elf products, what an improvement!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My skin feels so soft! Picked this up on a whim at my local Target, after denying myself the treat in summer, when mattifying would have been better for me. I like a dewier look in winter, but still-- I need another foundation Now, and decided to try Porcelain. I'm one of the palest palefaces, and most base colors are too orange, yellow or pink on me. This works! Has a good neutral mix of undertones. It went on nicely (very creamy, despite being oil-free) and blended well, with plenty of time to do that before it set. I think I could use this as an undereye concealer, too. Good, buildable coverage that starts at just about medium. You don't need much, it blends and spreads easily. No cracking or creasing after several hours, including standing over a pasta pot in a steamy kitchen. My face feels light, like I'm wearing nothing, butNote-- there is a thin sponge for an applicator, which worked fine dry. When one uses a sponge with liquid, it should be dampened and squeezed in a clean cloth or towel first, but I don't feel that approach would be best here-- maybe I'll try it in warmer weather though. This is an excellent value, a very good product (I needed no powder, either, though I'd use a little on my cheeks if using powder blush afterwards) and a good one for more mature skin as well as younger, but not a product for very oily skin-- too creamy by far going on, for that. I'm going to grab several more colors soon for my MUA kit.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good coverage, but doesn't mattify I bought this on a whim. I have oily skin and was hoping for a great mattifying cream foundation here. Unfortunately, it goes on shiny and stayed shiny on me. There was also a slight smell. The only good thing about this guy was the price, I guess. Also, the color was not right for me, but that could be my error from ordering online (wish these were in store so you could see them). Overal, not impressed. Staying with the Acne Fighting Foundation, it's amazing!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not good when I got this, I thought I would be able to apply it quickly and run out the door and have a flawless face. After wearing this product for about a half an hour my face started to get oily and greasy. Every foundation I wear does that after about 4 hours and I don't mind because it doesn't look terrible but this just made my face and skin look disgusting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best I've ever used!!! I absolutely love this foundation. Elf has outdone themselves with this one. Finally I have found a foundation that 100% love. I use smashbox but won't be anymore. I have oily skin and this is perfect, no shine, great coverage, and lasts all day. I will never use anything else. Please do not ever get rid of this fabulous foundation.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice foundation! I included this on my order on Cyber Monday, and got two different shades (Porcelain and Sand) because I wasn't sure which would work with my skin tone (I'm in between light and medium and have cool undertones). Do beware that the Porcelain shade is actually lighter in person than shown on the website. It actually made me looked washed out alone, but I think would be a great thing to have if you happen to get a shade that was slightly to dark and need to lighten up the shade a bit. Most other foundations I've tried were either to pink or to orange. I tried Porcelain and Sand on their own, and alone neither was quite the right shade. I decided to mix the two, and voila! I had my perfect shade! I used the sponge included with the compact to put a little of both colors on my face and blended it out with the E.L.F. Studio Powder brush. I'm one that doesn't need much coverage, and this foundation went on nicely and felt like I had practically nothing on and didn't look cakey. It seems like it would be very easy to build up coverage as needed, but I can't personally attest to that as I don't need to do that. I definitely recommend this as something to try!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'm over 50 and in love... This goes on like a dream, and makes your skin look beautiful. I have mild rosacea with "cool" pink undertones to my fair skin, and usually use Revlon Colorstay for combination skin in #200. With this, I use the "e.l.f. Mineral" green, color-correcting primer. Then I apply the foundation with a medium-size brush. I then use a kabuki brush to add a light layer of the loose HD powder in sheer, and spray with e.l.f. Mist and Set. This lasts almost as long as Colorstay, and is far easier to blend with no lingering brushmarks on your face. I use this foundation in Porcelain, (the first swatch color as of this writing) which is much lighter in real life than the online swatch. It is light and creamy. I wouldn't call it "mattifying," but it certainly is beautifying! When applying, you might need an additional layer, and you will still need under-eye concealer, but that's true of any foundation. It doesn't have that thick, gunky feel of the bottled Colorstay, and this slips into your makeup bag for touch-ups, if needed. A great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I have very oily skin and I love this stuff! I bought this some time ago after reading about crea foundations and such a reasonable price I thought why not? It is not matte at all but perfect in ombination with other product. I layer primer, oil absorbing powder, this foudation, ELF HD powder, and spritz with elf mist & set. I have tried it in various combinations and layered differently but this is the best way. On occasion it doubles as cocaler when I'm running late! Great stuff and lasts all day!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DON'T reformulate, DON'T discontinue, just RENAME. This product is awesome !!!! This is something I would buy in bulk, however it is nowhere near a matte finish foundation. Without powder it is completley dewy and creamy looking and with power it ends up just looking extremely natural with just a hint of shine. It really does look like smooth perfect skin. It needs to be renamed though. Just take out the word mattifying. Even though it is not matte it does wear well .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this stuff This is my everyday foundation. It's got great color and coverage for my skin tone, which can be very hard to match (I am black/white biracial). My color (Caramel) isn't carried in stores around here, so I buy several compacts at a time when there's a sale. Can't go without it! For extra matte, I'll sometimes use some pressed powder on top, but it's not necessary.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Absolutely Wonderful! Bought in "sand" and completely matched my skin (light with yellow undertone). Lasted throughout the day (no rigorous activity). Didn't notice it rub off on anything. Didn't feel cakey or like a mask - was perfect! Cream easy to apply and blended nicely. I used the e.l.f. small stipple brush to apply. I have normal skin so any foundation type works fine, but for drier months I prefer creams/liquids - this is a great cream to work with. No acne so I can't attest to it's coverage, but I'd guess it would work well. Didn't give 5/5 stars because I haven't had it long enough to completely say it's perfect.
