Rated 1 out of 5 by from Won't work? I was so excited to try this product, but no matter what brush I use; whether if it's wet or dry, it doesn't pick up the product. The only way I was able to use it was when I scratched the top with my nail and even then it wasn't shimmery enough.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed, but overall okay product. lovely color, but it's not pigmented at all, and unless you wet your brush, or use a finger, it won't show up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Baked Highlighter (blushed gems) I bought this because I thought it was pretty. It works great if you just put like two drops of water on a makeup brush and then apply. BUT THIS IS NOT FOR PALE SKIN!!!! It doesn't look right on pale skin.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Blush Gems vs. Moonlight Pearls vs. Pinktastic Blush Gems isn't bad after several layers -- it has a nice gold tone to it. It was unfortunately too dark for my fair skintone, but I can't hold that against it.Moonlight Pearls was the right color but had next to no pigmentation, layer after layer of attempting to scrape it and get it on my arm for swatches or my face. It was much harder than Blush Gems. Really, it's unusable, and I can only assume the formula has changed because bloggers used to rave about it.I also own Elf's baked blush Pinktastic, which I use as a highlighter and is a good 10 times better than either of these in terms of softness and pigmentation. Get that one instead.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MOONLIGHT PEARLS - TIED FOR FAVOURITE HIGHLIGHTER! WHEN USED DRY:A beautiful, natural glow that is so light catching! A tad subtle, but livens the skin and bring light to the face in a way I have never experienced! Very similar to the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powders when used dry in the way that they catch light. Glowy rather than shimmer!WHEN USED WET:Talk about pigment! When used wet this highlighter is incredible! It's this almost-metallic glow that is so stunning and captivating that I get compliments from people when I wear it! A stunning shimmer-y highlight that I use even when I'm not wearing any other makeup!FINAL THOUGHTS:I will repurchase this as long as they supply it! If you can get your hands on Moonlight Pearls, do it! You won't be disappointed!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Pigmentation I was super excited because the colour of this highlight looked gorgeous and there was so much of it! I could not; however, for the life of me apply this with a brush. Even with moisturizing, priming, concealing, etc this just would not show up. I'm the type of person who wants like "WOW!" highlight that's pretty and pigmented, but this is not it, unfortunately.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I've had this for so long. (moonlight pearls) It's my fav. I use my fingers to apply it then I use a small fan brush to blend it out. It's really pretty & affordable!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a fan of it I bought the baked highlighter in moonlight pearl and it has no pigment what so ever and it was hard to get it on the brush which sucks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice but only when wet Overall I'm not a huge fan of baked products, but I thought I'd give this a try. I will say this needs to be wet if you want any pigmentation. You also have to find the right brush to use it with. I sometimes try it with wet fingers but it doesn't always work perfectly. I find that this is long lasting but if you put too much it can look cakey. So just wet it and use a little. If you can get the application right then it's is an absolutely beautiful highlighter, but it does take a while to figure out the perfect way to apply this so I feel it's a little high maintenance.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cakey! It looks beautiful but when I applied it to my face after a while I noticed it was looking cakey like it was separating into different sections like it was cracking in a way, I don't know it was weird.I really tried to like it but 1. you barely get any on the brush and 2. when you do it gets really ugly after a while.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Highlight I just bought this, at first it seemed like I couldn't get any on the brush to apply to face; until I found the brush the worked best and with good light realized it didn't take much of it. Finger also works perfect.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No pigment I thought this would be a beautiful highlighter but it has no pigment whatsoever. It barely applies anything. Very sad about this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Big disappointment I have been checking the website for weeks waiting for this to come back in stock. Finally I decided to drive out of town to purchase this and the other elf items on the website I wanted at a Target. It looks absolutely gorgeous in the package. I get home and I honestly was wondering if it was fake! I can not get over the fact that there is absolutely no pigmentation. Almost nothing shows up even using my finger, pressing very hard. I will be returning. This was a big disappointment. I did love all my other elf products though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EXACT DUPE!!!!!!!!!! This highlighter in blush gem is an EXACT dupe for mac soft and gentle!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OMG Best dupe for other products I have ever tried. Best to use on non-textured skin, though. I use it instead of a blush and I glow all day. Even if you are fair skinned I suggest one with a little pink hue, perhaps pink diamonds otherwise you look like you've been strobing in a really bad way. It doesn't look like you get a lot on the brush but it sweeps on and you can build it. Lovely product, and I will buy it again when I run out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Can't even see it on skin I tried to like this, but I can't. You can't even see it! Even if you use your finger on it no product comes off. Really hard to explain but don't waste your money..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Discontinued ?! I love these highlighters, but why is pink diamonds the only one show ? Are moonlight pearls and blushed gems discontinued ? !! I've been waiting weeks for them to come back in stock and searched out over 8 stores looking for them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! To everyone saying that this product is hard to apply or it isn't pigminted enough, keep in mind that this is a BAKED highlighter. Baked products work best when wet, and adding a tiny amount of water to your brush makes a huge difference! It is definitely pigmented and truly does live up compared to the high end competitors. Blush gems is the best for everyday use, while moonlight pearls is a lot more dramatic for an evening look.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No Pigmentation, Even Wet I understand that baked products are supposed to produce a fantastic pigmentation when used wet, and I have tried both baked highlighters wet and dry, and can't get any pigmentation at all. I've even tried using my finger to apply, and while it shows up better that way, it's tough to apply evenly because as soon as it hits the skin, that's where it stays. I really wanted to like these, but after a few weeks of trying, I just can't.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I bought this a few weeks ago and was very disappointed. The appearance was good but could not see the highlighter when applied to face.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality I bought this based on the great reviews i have seen online and on this website. However the highlighter was ROCK SOLID i tried to use my finger and a brush to apply this but nothing worked. Even tried using it wet but nothing works with this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this highlighter! I purchased this highlighter along with some other products to get me started on contouring, since I'm a newbie. I have to say, I love this highlighter! It's a nice, light shimmer that I can build up to the shade I like.I've used Benefit's High Beam highlighter for years, and I have to say, I like this stuff better. I always struggled to blend the High Beam stuff properly, but this baked highlighter is super easy to blend. I also like how much more affordable this product is. I recommend using an angled blush brush, which I use and it works beautifully.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed I just bought it today and its hard as a rock. Won't pick up on ANY of my brushes. I'm basically just sweeping it straight to my cheekbones without a brush.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from not as I expected I was so excited to get this, I got blush gems and when it arrived I was so disappointed, it didn't stay on my face and I literally had to scrape part of it off the top with my finger to get it to start working. So many better highlighters
