Rated 5 out of 5 by from Use a wer brush and it will be perfect! Wasn't sure how to use it at first. I know a lot of reviews on it are bad and saying it doesn't work, USE A WET BRUSH AND IT WORKS PERFECT! The color is beautiful and ability to blend is great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You HAVE to take off the top layer! When I first my highlighter I was so disappointed - nothing came off on my finger or brush but after lightly scraping the top layer off it was amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! Use it wet! I bought this a week ago, and when I first used it (dry) like a lot of other people I found that there was little to no pigment, and it took ages to apply evenly. Then I tried it wet, literally not even a drop of water on the top does wonders! I've also found that applying it straight from the pan works better than using a brush, you can always buff out product on your skin with a brush afterwards :). Genuinely love it :).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for the price It's very pigmented if you scratch off the rough layer with a knife or a pair of scissors. After scratching off the rough layer, I swatched it and it was extremely pigmented compared to the swatch that I did before I scratched off the top layer. People claim that it's not pigmented at all, but by scratching off the top layer I found that the pigment was there

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I should of known Well I was surprised e.l.f came out with highlighters and I was excited to use it for the first time. I took my brush and saw the product did not pick up..it felt rough and I swiped it with my finger and it was to light for me. Not a happy camper with this product. I rather stick to city color it's only a $1 for the trio.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from WORST PRODUCT Just bought two of these highlighters and there's absolutely NO pigment at all. It is the worst highlighter I've used. I would not recommend buying this product, it is a waste of money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from One Of The Worst Highliters I bought this and when I use my brush to pick up the product it doesn't come off easily. I feel like I'm scooping in for ice cream when I try to get product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Can't beat this for the price I love this highlighter. I have the shade called "gems". I will say it does take a little bit to add some pigment onto your skin.. But once you figure it out, the pay off is great. I do not recommend a fan brush with this! Get a brush that will pack it on. I have also sprayed setting spray onto the brush for a more dramatic affect. If you don't own setting spray, water will do just fine... Just remember not to over wet your brush. It is very simmery and aboustly stunning. If you are on a budget, I would recommend this. You cannot beat it for this price point.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nope I got it and was so excited only to be disappointed that it didn't apply well at all. I tried different brushes, adding oil, adding water, scraping off the top didn't work

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Color!!! So I bought both the Blush Gems and Moonlight Pearls highlighter (even though a lot of people said the pigment was awful in the latter) but the color was just too perfect to not give it a chance, and I'm really glad I did! The Blush Gems is a nice color, but it's definitely more suited as a shimmery blush than a "highlighter". The Moonlight Pearls is an absolutely perfect white/translucent color and I LOVE it. The pigment definitely isn't the best and I could barely get the product on my brush when I bought it, but I rubbed a cotton pad on it and it kind of loosened up the pigment/took off the first layer of product which has made it a lot easier to apply. I've only done it once and it still works great. I'm wearing Moonlight Pearls in the photo I added, it's perfect for everyday use. Depending on how much you layer you can create a really subtle look or really make it stand out. I loooove it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST HIGHLIGHTER I have the moonlight pearls one and it is the best finishing touch to any makeup look. I absolutely love it. Very sparkly but very subtle, too. Great job ELF!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great color, horrible product The color did not transfer from the palatte to my brush or face... LOW QUALITY! I have used elf for a long time and this is by far their worst product I've bought. I will be returning it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from wet it!!! I too at first thought the product was a wash, but then i dampened a beauty blender and it went on like a charm! If you think this product is too low key, apply it wet!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Its pretty, but doesnt work I scraped the top layer off like people were saying, and I still wasn't picking up any product. If I layer it a TON, it does look kind of pretty. More like a shimmery blush than anything.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good! I bought this expecting a good highlighter, but what I got was more of a good shimmery eyeshadow. I got Moonlight Pearls, and to me it's not a very good highlighter, but it's good if you want a long-lasting, shimmery, natural, beautiful eyeshadow!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from it was ok.. i just recently bought this. i first tried to swatch it and there was zero pigment. i scrapped off the first layer and then it got a little better. the only way i can get a decent pigment is by using a setting spray on my brush first.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful shine! I just received this highlighter, and I suggest scraping off the top layer to really get the most out of it. I bought pink diamonds, and it leaves you absolutely stunning.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst highlight I was so excited to get this product so when I finally got it I went to go swatch it. Rubbed a little with my finger and went to put it on my hand and nothing comes off. I try again a little harder this time and nothing still. It is impossible of get any product it almost feels like the product is fake.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They'll see you shining from space! This highlighter ROCKS! Is a great dupe for one of my favorite highlighters that costs $24. I use this with the highlighter brush by e.l.f. and the result is seriously mind-blowing. At first it looks like it won't be very pigmented (when swatched on your finger, and even on the brush) but once it's on your face, BAMMM!! YOU WILL BE SHINING BRIGHT LIKE A DIAMOND!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great product i bought this highlighter in 'pink diamonds' recently and i am really happy about it! for a small price, it is a great highlighter. it does tend to wear off a bit easy, but i apply a few times and it is good for a few hours. i see many people complaining about the colour and effectiveness, but once you get the top layer off it works much better. i usually apply dry with a brush, but wet application and/or using your finger is even more effective!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty but hard to apply The baked highlighter is kinda hard to apply. If you apply with a brush, use your fingers to really rub the bristles in it. If you use your fingers, it's a but easier. For a more noticeable look, use more than one application.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from so pretty This is a pretty highlighter. I find that it comes off better on your finger than with a brush. It must be because it's baked, I don't know. I was getting frustrated that I wasn't seeing any product on my brush, but when I used my finger, it was perfect. It's got a nice shimmer to it. I would like to be able to apply with a brush but I don't know if there is anything that can be done about that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Swatch Ever! I'm so happy I bought this highlighter. It's very pigmented once you get past the first layer. It stays on for a long time and doesn't fade. I apply it with a fan brush and it's perfect.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible I usually really like e.l.f. products but this was like sheer chalk woth absolutely no shine. I got the moonlit pearls and was very disapointed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Did Not Really Work... I got the moonlight pearls version, tried it, and nothing really showed up. No shine really appeared anywhere.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, non-glittery highlight I got this a few weeks back in Moonlight Pearls and liked it so much I've since picked up Blush Gems. Before this, I found all comparably-priced highlights either didn't show up or were too glittery and pigmented to look even somewhat natural on my light, NC-20 skin. I had heard mixed reviews on this product but decided to take a chance. I am glad I did.Though it doesn't look like anything on the brush when I swirl my elf highlighting brush over it, it does work. This really gives me a noticeably glowing look while not being unnaturally pigmented or glittery, and does not emphasize any texture I have. This has now become my go-to highlighter and I wear it every time I put on any makeup.
