Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE IT! MISSING IVORY!!! I LOVE this foundation! Glids on nicely and leaves the skin looking gorgeous! The one thing I miss is the Ivory selection... Where did it go? What could be the foundation that matches close enough to Ivory?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite make up, and loyal for 3 years until now I started using the Ivory tint 3 years ago. It has been a difficulty to find this perfect match of my skin tone and type, one that makes me feel nude and keeps acne away. The Ivory tint was perfect, only it was usually out of stock. I have purchased and tried all the other similar colors when I was in a pinch. Now, I am not sure if it is available at all, but I would really like it back if not.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not really sure what happened here I bought my first bottle of this foundation a few months ago and was completely satisfied. The shade Porcelain matched my skin tone perfectly, and I only had to apply a minimal amount for perfect coverage. I recently ran out of the original and was excited to get a brand new one, until now.I'm not sure if my product is defective or if e.l.f. completely changed their production of this foundation, but I'm really disappointed. The application is far heavier and the undertone is way too pink and pigmented in comparison to what I've become used to. There's even discoloration in the foundation itself when I squeeze it out onto my hand before I start to apply it. I know it's only $6 so I shouldn't be expecting much, but I wish the quality was consistent.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but... It's great for me because I break out a lot with other foundations but... the darkest shade (which is closest to my skin) is cool toned and I'm warm toned but I mix it with another foundation and it works great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Enough Colors I got the darkest color and it was STILL ashy on me! E.l.f. Has to do better with color choices

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new favorite foundation! I bought this a week ago and I love it! The smallest amount covers your fave and it blends perfectly! Lasts thorughtout the day and it doesn't feel heavy. It hasn't been long enough to comment on the "acne fighting" abilities but I haven't broken out since using it so that's a plus.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wish they had more color options I bought this in May and was really excited about it, until I put it on and realized how orange it was on me. I got the porcelain shade but it was still way too dark for me. The actual quality of the makeup was good, but the coloring is awful and I wish that they would expand their color range. In fact, it is so dark on me that I started using it for contour because I decided it was better to do that than waste my money by not using it at all.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great Product;Need Darker Color Shades I finally received my package in the mail. This was one of the products l purchased , I purchased two because from the picture it seems it would be a perfect match and the product was too light and I applied it and checked it against natural light. I love the way it made my skin feel. I would highly recommend, however the color caramel did not work for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Actually Heals My Whiteheads !!! I am not a typical elf Customer, but I am due to this product. I discovered this foundation many years ago when searching for one specifically for acne skin. This actually heals my skin just from wearing it for a few hours. It is amazing how it calms redness, and will dry up whiteheads if I accidentally leave it on over night. I have every type of acne med, Prescription and OTC. It surprises me how good this inexpensive little foundation is. One problem though, but not one for me, they don't have very many colors. What they call Porcelain isn't, it is probably 1 shade darker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING! Both my daughter and I are very fair skin but in two different ways...I have yellow undertones and she has pink undertones. We can never wear the SAME shade and most shades are two dark for us, so I'm not understanding when people are saying that "Porcelain" is to's perfect for both my daughter and myself and for daily use the full coverage it offers is impeccable and it lasts all day long without changing color. One key point, since I have "mature" skin, I avoid using any type of powder but then I get oily about two hours after application of most foundations except this one. It goes on matte and stays that way all day.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I first loved but it's just way to dark. The first time I tried it I thought it was amazing. Coverage and how it looked after all makeup was done but I have to mix it to make it lighter and that not the point. I have the lightest shade and while it get really good reviews it has to be made in many other shades because its either way to dark or way to light. It's not fair..... Boo

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Like Even your lightest shade is too dark but it's not terrible. Coverage is a bit less than expected. But I like this foundation, blends well and feels light on the skin! However, the smell is just a little too much for me and that is why I don't think I'll buy this again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nit light enough I bought this online in the lightest shade there was, and I kept checking for over a month because I read somewhere they had an Ivory shade, but they don't seem to. Porcelain is way too dark for fair skin. Otherwise the coverage is alright. My pimiles wouldn't stay hidden behind it. It also didn't seem to make me break out worse. But I won't be able to use this foundation, it makes me look like a drag queen, and not a good one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from BRING BACK THE IVORY!!! I used to buy a few of the Ivory shades of this acne fighting foundation at a time. It was PERFECT for me. The porcelain is TOO dark! Why would you stop making the lightest color when people said even that was a bit too dark sometimes?! Porcelain is quite dark for us fair skinned people and it ONLY works at all for me during the summer when I have a bit of sun color. Otherwise I can't use it and I have to switch brands which is frustrating when this is my favorite!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely coverage Offers a great amount of coverage, especially when paired with the stipple brush. My breakouts do tend to ease through the day when I wear it, though not by much. I haven't broken out because of wearing it yet, so that's a plus. The lightest shade is a tad dark. It just barely works with my skin tone right now and probably won't when my tan fades. I would love to see an even lighter shade in this line, because overall, I love it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Way too dark I love the amount of coverage the product gives, however the lightest shade is way too dark for me. Porcelain is supposed to be a very pale white shade. This is a deeper more orange color. Very disappointed in the color. Wish it had it in a shade like ivory in the all over color stick!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great coverage! I purchased this a year ago in the porcelain shade and really enjoyed it! It was a little pink for my skin, but the coverage was so good, and it lasted so well that I decided to buy it again. It had an "herbal" smell, like it was actually going to help my skin, but it was little odd. (Not bad, just different.)I got my order a few weeks ago, and they've change the formula for the better! Not sure when that happened, but I'm even happier with it now! The smell is totally gone. Not that I minded it in the first place, but it's nice when they have no scent at all! Plus, the porcelain color is less pink, yay! This stays so well on my face! I use a powder over the top, and the ELF setting spray. I have put this on in the morning, been out all day long, then gone to a concert... and it stayed looking pretty darn good the whole time. I keep blotting papers in my purse just in case, but usually it lasts all day without getting terribly oily. I really love this stuff!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too Dark and Doesn't Stop Breakouts I bought this as I found it in allure's "The 10 Best Foundations for Acne-Prone Skin". It's probably the cheapest of the lot so I didn't feel so much pressure to try it out.First off, the colour is way too dark. There's not too many shade options and I fear if I purchased something lighter, it might be too light for me. But the Beige shade was just way too tan for my skin tone. I tried to layer with a lighter foundation, but I think the product's thick consistency made my face too cakey even by itself.I have acne-prone skin, which makes it difficult for me to buy any foundations for that matter but I thought that as the product itself is called Acne Fighting Foundation, it should be able to combat the existing acne and stop future breakouts. But it didn't stop the zits from appearing on my face. So for me personally, the product does not work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Foundation I just recently purchased this shade on caramel and it's slightly a lighter shade than it appears online but I paired it with my LA Girl pro concealer to get the perfect shade. I will definitely purchase again, but in a shade darker. I love this foundation! It's lightweight, looks amazing on me, and I prefer it over more expensive brands! I have extremely oily skin and usually have to blot 30 times a day to control shine, I only had to do this once and it's because I went out for lunch in 88 degree heat! I do not have problem skin, but the fact that it fights acne can only be a plus. DEFINITELY BUY! Do not ever discontinue this awesome product!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Has great coverage I like using a little bit of this product with my BB cream as it adds coverage and I like having the benefits of its acne fighting properties. I wouldn't recommend using it all over your face simply because it is a bit orangey.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not just for acne? I haven't tried this yet but was told that it's not just for acne prone skin. Is that correct?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's not so bad I got this maybe a week or two ago and it applies real easy. I mix this with my Maybelline foundation because I got mine in shade sand and it's a bit light and the caramel shade would have been too dark but the sand one that I got seems to have a grey undertone and it looks like an ashy color on my face but mixed with my Maybelline foundation it's better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All Day Erday Anytime I wear makeup, I wear this. I rarely have to use powder anymore. It fights acne just like it says. It makes my green eyes pop, and evens out my skin tone. My face, for whatever reason, does not tan like my body does, so this helps blend with my skin coloring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING When I ordered this I didn't think it would be great coverage but it actually is! I've also noticed that my skin is clear since I started using this !! GOOD BUY !!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing! I love this foundation, the price obviously is amazing, but the best thing is that it covers my acne scars so well. It has such great coverage and it's matte which I love. The only down side is that I wish there was a lighter shade, I'm very pale and even porcelain is a little too dark, but even with that I just use a lighter powder to set it and it lasts all day on my skin. My mom even loves it! For six dollars...oh yes E.L.F.!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too dark I bought this foundation in porcelain, and it's way too dark and has yellow undertones, which clashes with my cool skin. I put on my makeup around 6:30 a.m. and this foundation wears off around 12:00 p.m. School gets out at 3:00 p.m., so I need something that stays on longer. The foundation does, however, treat acne as advertised.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Easy Application I bought this a month ago, and it is very nice. It applies easily, and it goes on very light. My only qualm is that it is a little lighter than the photo online, which usually wouldn't be a problem, but because I've been outside a lot this summer, I'm a little darker than my usual tone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible I bought this shade in coffee and when I received it, the payoff was way lighter than dipicted on the website. Almost a bright yellow tone. So I bought chestnut (the darkest color) and to my surprise there's barely a noticeable difference between the two. I wish the foundation colors were more color people friendly. On top of that the formula is SUPER dry. It makes my face look dried out and a family member said it looked "like embalming for a corpse." Waste of $9

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very small amount of product The picture amount looks a lot bigger then what you really get. They are only 1.21 fl oz. I can't complain too much though bealcause my acne has cleared up since using it. I tried it once but have not been wearing face makeup lately. I have combo skin so its hard to find a good foundation. I think this is great but I didn't get full coverage at all. It might be because of the shades though. I am Native American, Irish and Dominican. My skin tonebis more ofa honey color with a tint of brown lol I bought both sand and caramel just in case. They are okay mixed together but either too light or too dark alone. Glad I found something to help with acne but not fully satisfied with the shades and amount of product.
