Rated 5 out of 5 by from love! I don't smell any odor? and they dry like a regular polish on me so I don't understand the bad reviews?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous! I bought the colors Love Me and Dream Maker and they are gorgeous. First I did a white base coat and then applied the colors ( 2 coats) and I think are great! Pretty good quality for $2 a piece honestly. The odor really isn't bad as I thought it would be, it smells like nail polish you buy from Walgreens or Target.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from really pretty! I bought fairy dust. the formula is quite thick but once it drys it has a really nice shine when the light hits the flakes. I really like this polish over a nice red. its does have a strong smell, but it honestly doesn't bother me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Won't dry :( I love the glitter colors in Chic Confetti, but even just one coat on plain nails takes forever to dry. This is the slowest drying nail polish I ever used. I'm really sad, I was so hopeful for this :(

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NASTY SMELL I bought 10 bottles of this Essential Nail Polish and threw every bottle in the trash.  The smell was HORRIBLE and just nasty.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn't dry, terrible formula I ordered two of these - Dream Maker and Midnight Mystery. Firstly, they looked like two different colors in photos and even in the bottle, but actually look exactly the same on my nails (where does the black from the bottle of Midnight Mystery go?). Secondly, they smell terrible, like everyone else has said . Thirdly, the dealbreak, is that they do not dry. EVER. The polish goes on sticky and thick. I put a coat of an opaque polish and then a coat of Midnight Mystery as a topcoat. The opaque color was totally dry but when I added Midnight Mystery, I got a dent down to the nail 4 hours later! 48 hours later, I was still getting dents. On 2 coats of polish? Even 10 coats would have dried in 48 hours. I'm so disappointed because they look so pretty in the bottle.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good look, bad formula I have this in "Fairy Dust". It is a translucent multi-coloured flaky glitter in a transparent base. It looks good in the nail and over other polishes. But! The finish is terrible! This polish doesn't dry hard, and can be scraped and even rubbed off relatively easily after more than 24 hours of dry time! It also has a slightly tacky fee even after drying. The smell is also horrible. You can find this look elsewhere. The bad formula is not worth it! SKIP!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE LOVE LOVE! I picked up this glitter polish a while ago, but have never used it until recently. I'm not usually one to go for bright nails because I get tired of it chipping and looking bad after a day or two (then having to reapply/fix/keep up with it), but I decided to try the gold glittery polish for an event I was working at. INSTANT LOVE! It's *just* sheer enough that if it chips, I totally can't tell, and it's *just* gold and glittery enough to catch people's attention. I can't stop looking at it! I probably could have made it even more glittery by applying a few coats, but I didn't want it too thick/dark. One coat plus a top coat is perfect for me. Can't beat the price of it either. I will definitely be buying more glittery shades now! I've attached a pic, but it doesn't do the polish any justice - you just can't see all the gold in it. It looks even prettier and glittery in person, trust me!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from glitter for a lesser girly girl I got the Mighnight Mystery color. Its really pretty, but not as glittery as I was expecting. The glitter was also pretty chunky so my nail had a bit of a texture to them. Perfect summer color for us ladies that prefer dark fingertips :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Colors and Coverage/Hard to Remove I love the way it looks, I got Chic Confetti and Gold Star. I always like to put these either alone or as a top coat. I got these two colors in my Elf Nail Cube in JewelTones (Which is also a equally amazing set worth buying) The only con is they are SUPER HARD to remove from my nail.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Strong smell, very pretty though. It bums me out that the regular nail polish just pops right off my nails. But at least I can use these as a top coat over polishes that DO work for me. The only draw backs? They have a very strong unpleasant smell that lingers long after the polish has dried. They are also very thick, making them gloppy and difficult to apply. After using some, I added some clear polish I had that had a very watery consistency, and that helped alot. These are gorgeous though, so if you can overcome the flaws this is a very good buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from fairy dust, fairy dust, fairy dust! Fairy dust looks sooo cool over darker polish! I can look orange, yellow, green or blue in different light. It dries fast and doesn't chip as easily as the regular nail polish. I love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE THEM! They are awesome! I bought the Golden Goddess, Love Me, and Dream Maker and I love all three of them. I wear Love Me on top of red nail polish on my ring finger, and it looks great. The other two, I just wear on top of similar colors, or just on my bare nails, for a bit of glitz. I love the amount of glitter on them, but I wish it had more of the bigger specks. It dries up really fast, and while it doesn't dry up glossy, it doesn't look bad either. Like any glitter, it is hard to remove, but on a positive note, it lasts longer than other ELF nail polishes. For the price, it's a great product!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Chic Confetti too Christmasy This is a review for the Chic Confetti color. Contents: Glitter polish contains small and large glitter specs. Colors were Teal Blue, Green, Red, Yellow, Pale Pink, and Silver. Small Specs were blue, red, green and silver. Large Specs were green, pink and yellow. Thought this color was going to be a great compliment for a birthday manicure. Unfortunately, the majority of the glitter was yellow, green and red. This glitter combination made the polish look "Christmasy" in most indoor lighting. Pros: Great amount of glitter. Some nail polishes I used in the past did not have a good glitter/polish ratio. This one was perfect. Cons: Nail polish coat did not harden well, specs shifted with fingertip pressure. Recommendation: Needs purple, magenta pink (instead of light pink) and more large BLUE specs! This combination would balance out the christmas look!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glitterific! I bought Fairy Dust and Golden Goddess. I absolutely love Fairy Dust and it looks great over almost any color. It's a good eye catching iridescent color that tends to have a cool effect depending on which color you put it over. I love putting it over white...I call that my winter wonderland polish! I've also put it over dark colors and it still looks amazing. Golden Goddess is a really pretty gold glitter that looks great over dark colors. I could do without the large specks of glitter as sometimes from afar, it looks like you have random dots on your nails...kind of tacky and not really sparkly. Only a few of them come out at a time, so I try to pick them out when I see them on the brush. The small specks of gold, however, are really pretty! I love it over dark purple, blue, and black. The polish does tend to chip easily, but what I've found is that if you use a clear top coat of another brand, the color will last at least a couple weeks. The smell is quite stong and as I have said before, what nail polish doesn't give off a stong odor? Yes, some are stronger than others, but it's not going to hurt you and honestly, with low prices like these, the odor of the polish is the last thing I'd compain about....its NAIL POLISH!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dream Maker The color is just gorgeous and so fun! Yes it smells like nail polish, but most nail polish does. Love it, the color is great applied French!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Golden goddess, Fairy nail polishes I have several of the nail polishes and I have just order alot more, but I would stear clear of the sparkly nail polishes with a clear base color. The two clear nailpolishes I have smell like death warmed over. Its awful, but I love the colors they are pigmenmted and super fun! The price is perfect as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Chic Confetti Chic Confetti has a great amount of sparkle and adds the perfect amount of fun to a look. I was getting a little bored of my nail colors, but this looks great over so many colors (I've tried it over white, lavender, mint, black, light pink) I know I will use it so much. It makes your nails really pop, I got a lot of compliments on it. Give it a try (:

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Just plain bad! This nail polish: -Is hard to apply, the polish collects and sticks to the brush because it is so goopy even after I mixed it with nail polish remover. -Takes long to dry. -Smells horrible. -Had a strange almost matte finish which is not what I want from glitter nail polish. -Sparse glitter and I don't even understand how that happens because it's basically all glitter. -Doesn't last long. I did both hands and 1/4 of the bottle was already gone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product, Awful Smell I've tried the Chic Confetti, Gold Star, and Dream Maker. I don't tend to layer glitter polishes over base coats. I really like that glittery look without other colors. The Chic Confetti was oddly disappointing in the fact that--from the picture--it had originally looked to be a multicolored glitter... something bright and shiny. However, upon application, it just looked like something I could only wear in December and January. It's colors are gold, green, red, and silver, and those shades together on my nails simply SCREAMED holiday. I really liked Gold Star and Dream Maker, though. They were straight up gold and silver glitter polishes. I've ordered Fairy Dust and Love Me, too. They have been really durable. With my base coat, two coats of polish, and top coat, I wore the polish for several days with no chipping. Removal was difficult, but it is with *any* glitter polish. The only thing I truly hated about this was the terrible odor. It was pain varnish mixed with bubblegum. Seriously. And it lingered after the top coat. In fact, the scent of bubblegum lingered for about three days. Awful.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Dupe for more expensive polish I got the fairy dust as part of a pack, I really liked it. I had bough a simlar name brand polish but I actualy like ELF better. This polish has smaller chunks of the holograpgic glitter, which make it easier to work with than some other brands. You might need two coats to get the same effect, but you won't have to worry about jagged polish, which isn't fun.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Odd Smell, Chunky Glitter This product in the new shades are very large circular glitter particles in an almost gel... Very odd and unlike any glitter polish I've used before. I don't know if I got a bad bottle or bad batch but I am not a fan :( I love all things elf but this just didn't do it for me. This can not be used alone but is not a top coat. You need a base color for this but definitley need a top coat or 3 to seal these huge glitter bits in place. As well 1 coat is not enough, the glitter didn't transfer very noticeably needing about 3 coats of the glitter as well :( This ended up being VERY time consuming as I needed a good 2-3 coats of the elf color polish I used, plus dry time, then 3 coats of this glitter polish to make it noticeable and on top of all that 2 coats of a top coat to seal on and slightly smooth down the jagged glitter bits of this glitter polish, all while adding dry times between coats so I found it took WAY to long for an effect I could have achieved much quicker in 1 coat with say an OPI or Essie glitter polish :( On top of it all this has tje grossest smell that makes me nauseous! It's very strong and stays even after it drys. Would not recommend and will not repurchase or even use this polish again, it's destine for the trash :(

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty, but smells bad. I loved how easily it went on, and how fast it dried. I purchased "Chic confetti" and it looked very pretty over my "pearl" nail polish. However, the scent that came with it, was terrible. I've never gotten a headache from a nail polish before, but this is was just bad. The scent didn't go away after it dried either. It lingered for about 6 hours. Not fun. Other than the smell, i really loved this. Definitely buying others.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I received this nail polish in the holiday collection box, so what I got is just a small size of the nail polish. I was really excited when I opened up this polish because I wanted to have glittery gold nails for this upcoming holiday. First off, the packaging is great. The color is beautiful and the brush applicator works just fine. So what's the problem? The smell!!! I could only paint one of my nails with this stuff because the smell is way too powerful! Elf, if you continue to have this nail polish available please, please, please do something with the awful smell! I was so bummed out because everything about this nail polish was what I was looking for, just the smell was too much for me to handle and ruined all the good qualities of this nail polish.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty! This polish does have quite a strong smell, i can't leave it open for too long or I get quite a headache! But with that being said, its very pretty! The drying time isn't TOO long, I strongly suggest waiting 10-15 minutes between coats because when its layered and wet its just a sticky mess! If you take your time with it, its great while it lasts! Good polish for the price!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it!! Fairy Dust is awesome over the regular Dark Red elf polish... Not little girl glittery it's sort of like mica chips so it's edgy and fun. Great for a little extra sparkle to brighten a regular mani or to hide the little nicks and chips after a few days :) The only down side is that it is a little thick and really really smells bad, definitely use in a ventilated area.
