Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spectacular I have this in the shade birthday cake. It's the perfect pink! Blends well, lasts all day and brightens up the eyes. Very pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than some high end shadows I own! I have Forest Frolic, Bridal Party, and First Date.Forest Frolic is amazing. SO PIGMENTED! Someone said it was dark green, but I disagree. It's black. Really black. I use it in the outer v with like, all my eyeshadows and I have never once thought it looked green. I just barely touch the end of my brush in it and the color payoff is amazing. I have several blacks from high end companies, and I choose this every time.Bridal Party is my go to under my brows. It's not as pigmented as Forest Frolic, I like that is isn't for that area. The texture is lovely.I gave First Date to my cousin because it's the perfect under brow color on her. She loves it and I've had to reorder it for her multiple times.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value for good product I repurchase this all the time; it lasts for quite a while even on a daily basis as it is very pigmented and lasts all day even without primer. Just as good as any higher priced brand out there with little fall-out and good color! I have purchased almost every shade and all are flattering; "First Date" is a perfect matte pale pink that I use to wake up my eyes every day!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Completely Broken :/ Bought this along with a bunch of other products. This eyeshadow was completely broken and scattered all over inside it's packaging. Was really looking forward to using the shade I got (Bridal Party) as a highlighter but had to toss it as it was completely unusable. If I ever see them in stores I'll snatch them up in a heartbeat, but probably won't order any more online. Glad it was only $3.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Colours dont match pictures I bought the purple "rockin out" shade and the blue "sailing escapades" and they are NOWHERE near the shades that are represented in the picture above. Both shades were shown to be light shades in the pictures and actually turned out to be extremely dark. I know it can be hard to find a picture that matches the actual shade of the eyeshadow but I'm confident you guys can do better than that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good color and quality! This is a great color if you don't want dramatic black but want something like a dark gray. Good texture, good quality of product, and stays very well with a primer. It smudges/creases after a while on my oily lids, but again with a primer it does very well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Buildable color What an interesting color! Is it taupe? Gray? Purple? It changes depending upon the light and how heavily I layer the product. I love it! Great everyday color to give you eyes depth, and layer it on for a sultry evening look.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pretty colors, bad ingredients I purchased First Date a few months ago and really liked it, so when I saw that elf was having a sale I jumped at the chance to purchase more colors. Unfortunately, I see that bismuth oxychloride is one of the ingredients and b.o. causes major itching. I thought my itchy eyes were because of allergies, but thinking back I only had itchy eyes the few times I used this eye shadow. Elf also uses mineral oil & talc - two ingredients that are major no-no's for skin health. Of course, most of the high-end brands use those ingredients, so I'm not singling out elf. I'll just have to be much more careful about reading the ingredients lists. The thing that makes me so frustrated is that there are plenty of fairly inexpensive alternatives to talc and mineral oil that are so much more healthy. Please, elf, use better ingredients. I'll bet most of your customers wouldn't mind paying an additional $1 or $2 for healthier ingredients.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great eyeshadow, lousy packaging I bought these in all the colors.  The colors are not true to the photos, but I still like them.  For example:  Out All Night is much darker, almost black; birthday cake is much lighter and softer (I use it as a highlight color).  They have good pigmentation, velvety texture, blend nicely and wear well (I use primer).  However, the packaging is ultra-cheap and fragile.  During transit, the clear window piece falls out, one compact broke, and I had one eyeshadow break.  E.l.f. replaced the broken items without problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great eyeshadow, lousy packaging I got all the colors, and I really like them.  They are not quite matches for the photos, but close enough.  I think they're even prettier in person.  Wine Tour is my favorite:  It's a dusky purple with gold sparkles.  More sparkly than the picture, but not too sparkly.  All the colors have good pigment, velvety texture, blend nicely and wear well (I use primer).  The only bad thing I can say is the containers are super-cheap.  The clear window pops out during shipping, I had one where the compact broke, and I had another one wear the eyeshadow broke.  E.l.f. did replace the one where the eyeshadow broke.  I de-pot mine, so I did not care about the compacts.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great eyeshadows, cheap cases I bought these in all the colors.  The colors are great, with Wine Tour being especially pretty.  Very good pigmentation. Several of them had the clear plastic window on the lid popped out during transit.  Luckily, they were packaged well enough they shadow themselves did not break, and it was easy to pop the windows back in. I had one with an intact lid, but the shadow was completely crumbled and unusable.  The quality of the makeup is 5-star, but I had to take off a star for the junky case lids.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful and long-lasting I adore this color and accent it with a gel shimmery purple color. It goes on beautifully and lasts all day.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good eyeshadow I have few colors and my fav is 'Miss Popular' I love the color and it is so smooth. I love using my finger to apply it. Good pigmentation as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from pretty nice Bought this in wine tour,  its lighter than shown and has gold flakes in it. Its a nice shadow but as soon as your brush touches it, it begins to break up and become loose.  I would buy another one,  its a good price and stays on most of the day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing - creamy, pigmented & awesome! I have this eyeshadow in 'Beauty Queen' and...well, I want to buy at least 5 more colors. I don't know if they are all really great, but I do know for a fact that Beauty Queen is. It's very buttery, pigmented, blendable and all around awesome. Hey, elf...if you'd like to send me a few more to try for free, contact me. ;)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They are very good for the money I am very picky about eye shadows however these are some of my favorites..They glide on and last all day. Very smooth. That being said, I agree with another...they apply lighter than they appear. It's not anything that will deter me from using them as I bought almost every color, but it should be known. Other than that I have no qualms and for what I paid, they are 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value, beautiful colors! I just bought Disco DJ (a pale platinum grey) and I love it. It last all day, doesn't tend to flake down onto the rest of your face, and as with all e.l.f. products, it is HIGHLY pigmented - a little goes a LONG way!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great as eyeliner I bought several pressed powder mineral eyeshadows. I love the Bridal Party - white for the inside corners of the eyes. The Beauty Queen is a fair flesh toned color, it's  perfect under the brow arch. My favorite is the Forest Frolic - black. I use this color as an eyeliner. I put a couple drops of the e.l.f. Studio Makeup Lock & Seal right onto pressed powder. I roll my brush around in the mess and apply as eyeliner. Picture shows one line with a lighter amount and one line with a heavier amount of product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good pigmentation. More flakey than creamy texture I got Wine Tour (which has big gold/bronze flecks that arent as easy to see in the pic) and Birthday Cake. The colors are nicely pigmented but go on a little flaky rather than creamy (ie MAC) so it can get every where (even with primer) if you arent careful. Wine Tour has shimmer flecks that seem to get everywhere so points off for that. Otherwise I would recommend it. I do prefer the loose mineral eyeshadow as it seems to stick to the eyelid better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I love Beauty Queen!  I have only bought the color Beauty Queen, and love it. I bought it as a base color to use or to just swipe on and go. I needed a color for my fair complexion that adds a little highlight but still natural with my pale ivory complexion. I have only two complaints (Not really complaints) first is the size of the cases compared to other single eyeshadow cases like studio. Second complaint, how much powder you get, a lot comes of and sort of breaks off with the brush if that makes sense. There not really complaints just things to watch out for as nothing is wrong with the eyeshadow itself.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I LOVE THESE! I have the shades Disco Diva, Forest Frolic, and Bridal Party. They are fantastic. They are smooth, easy to apply. The three colors I got make an amazing smoky eye! Great product for the price!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from THESE ARE SERIOUSLY AWESOME! My Story: Until last month, I had only used one product from ELF (the Mineral Primer). Other than that, I knew NOTHING about ELF. After watching one of my favorites on YouTube (Emily Eddington) I decided to check out a brand that she kept talking about...ELF. I saw how cheap the products were and after hearing so many good things, I decided to go for it! I went nuts and had ...three... orders placed within a week! I couldn't stop! Now, don't get me wrong, I bought a few things that were a total miss and a few I wasn't all that impressed with, but these shadows...are AMAZING....My Review: I purchased 3 of these eyeshadows during the week of the Mardi Gras Free Gifts event (up'ing the total to $35 to get the Free Shipping). If I had known how incredible these shadows were going to be, I would have bought them all! They might actually be my most favorite shadows-EVER! They are super soft but do not crumble when using a brush (awesome!) and they have some serious pigmentation. A little goes a long way! Packaging is super cute and sleek.Beautiful colors to choose from! I bought the colors Bridal Party (White), Forest Frolic (Black) and Wine Tour (Soft Purple with Gold Flecks). LOVE LOVE LOOOOVE THESE!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great selection of shades of mattes and shimmers. i think elf has a great selection of shades of these eyeshadows.  they are in sleek individual containers that make them easy to store and see the colors.  i find they are very pressed, have to get the eyeshadow working before it applies easily.  always wear a primer to help it stay.  it's a smooth texture, not 100% true to color, like 90%. good purchase and value if you are looking for a specific shadow, these would not be my basic go-to shadows because they are not the most pigmented and i don't have time to work up the color, but it is buildable from my experience.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wine Tour Wine tour is a beautiful light lilac/plum with gold sparkles. The pigmentation is really pretty. I could have done without the sparkles though, and there are a lot of them! I found that even if I applied it with a light hand and VERY carefully I would find the sparkles falling out all over my face and that's not a good look.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty colors I bought these in the Miss popular and Out all night. both are gorgeous colors! Only reason I gave it a 4 is because I got out all night completely broken and contacted E.L.F so hopefully they will send me a new one for free. Can't wait to use both colors.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the products, BUT when I received my pressed mineral eyeshadow (miss popular) it was completely broken inside the packaging. :( I was determined though. I salvaged what I could and pressed it back together.  I still like it, was just a mess to clean up. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy! Hard to believe this is a $3.00 shadow!  I bought this in: "Beauty Queen" "What's Your Name?" & "Forest Frolic".  I used all three together, &  I think this is my new fav's!  I had similar colors in my Tarte kits which are pricey, and I think I love these better.  Nice pigment, good staying power...can't go wrong!
