Pointed Foundation Brush is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 60.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible brush Had to throw this brush away after using it for about a month. The bristles would shed during every use and then finally more than 30% of the bristles fell off.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from pointed foundation brush Extremely difficult to blend out my foundation with it. It absorbs so much product and leaves streaks behind.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing This brush is amazing it is super soft and the hairs don't shed or come out of the brush. It applies everything very lightly and it applies it evenly its never let me down.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very harsh and dense, not soft or effective. I've had this brush for about 2 weeks and I find it pretty ineffective. It's not soft at all and requires a lot of time and manpower to blend anything out, liquid or powder. It's almost decent.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Eh.. I got this brush specifically for setting my concealer but I hate how it's so dense. I hadn't thought about using it for highlighting until I read the reviews so I'll try that but I feel like it's just too harsh on my face, I don't really like it but I still use it since I don't want it to go to waste.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I swear by this brush I love love love they way this applies foundation. I use it for application and also work it in by using repeated strokes and it blends my foundation flawlessly into the skin while giving me max coverage for the amount I use.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Different use As a foundation brush it falls flat... BUT it's a wonderful brush to apply setting powder under the eye, or to use with a powder highlight. Picks up the perfect amount of product for light-handed application. Bristles are super soft, had no issues with fallout, even after multiple washes

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it I've had this for a while and continue to love using it. I always use it for foundation since it creates a very smooth finish with a small amount of product. I put a small dab of foundation on the back of my hand and work from there picking up small amounts of product. Very happy with this and haven't had a problem with lost bristles.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Worthless Foundation Brush...HOWEVER... The brush is useless/worthless for foundation. HOWEVER, this brush is absolute perfection for setting under eye concealer with setting powder. Also, perfect for Highlighting the tops of cheekbones, forehead, cupids bow, and chin. <3 <3 <3

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Room for Improvement I bought 2 of these brushes as soon as CVS had them on display. I have been looking for a brush with that exact shape to use for setting my under eye concealer. It's very dense, picks up the perfect amount of powder, has that pointed tip shape that gets the powder under your eye as close to the lash line as possible and fits perfectly in the inner corners of your eye, as well. They don't shed at all and are a breeze to clean. I truly love the design of the brush........here's the catch though......it is NOT soft at all. So much so that I'm going to even say it's scratchy. I really wanted this to be that perfect under eye setting powder brush and it probably would be if not for those densely packed thick scratchy bristles. I love e.l.f. makeup and tools, that's a fact but this is a scratchy one ladies. If you can deal with that then this is your perfect under eye powder brush. I do continue to use them, however I am shopping around for something the same size, shape, and design but super duper soft. If it were anywhere else on my face I wouldn't have any gripes, but our under eyes are so delicate already without me dragging what feels like sandpaper across it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I've never used this brush for foundation but I use it to pack on powder to bake my face. Since it has a nice point, it's great for baking to sharp your contour or get into edges of your face. Only thing is that after about 3 washes the handle fell off but still a good brush.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My first ever brush, besides a blush brush I got this as a gift, and had never used a brush to apply foundation, I love it, I will never use anything else again..

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love the Brush, But It Falls Apart I've used this brush about 5-7 times and the last couple times I cleaned it, bristles fell out. Tonight, chunks fell out and now there's a gap in the center. I dunno, maybe I just got a poorly made one. I am very careful about how I wash my brushes and always use very lukewarm water.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from An ok brush I've had this brush for about a month. I use it mostly to set under eye concealer. I don't grab for this as much as I expected to being it holds so much product. However it is a greatly made brush and the bristles are very soft and tightly packed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Didn't work for me I've had this brush for a couple of months and don't find myself reaching for it really at all. I use liquid foundation daily, and I don't think that this is the best brush for liquid foundation. It's not flat like a traditional foundation brush (I now realize why brushes for foundation are paddle-style) and I find that at least half of my foundation disappears inside. I use Urban Decay's "Naked" foundation, which is pretty thin and it all seeps into the bristles. I bet if you used cream or mousse foundation this would work WAY better for you, or even if you have liquid foundation that's on the thicker side.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from For small faces only Good quality bristles, but shape did not work for my face as a foundation brush (as does the Real Techniques foundation brushes). Will have to find another use - applying highligher? buffing eyeshadow? any ideas?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not good for the whole face This brush is really soft and really well made, but I wouldn't call it a foundation brush. It's really good at blending concealer in tight places like around your under eyes but it's not good at applying or blending foundation all over your face. Even if you use the side of the brush to apply foundation I feel as if the density of the bristles and how compact everything is makes it difficult to get an even, and less blotchy application. It would probably work better as a contour brush though!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Corners of Eyes and Around the Nose Love this for applying foundation in places that other brushes are too bulky to get into small spaces. The bristles are just stiff enough so that they don't bend and soft enough to blend it out.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Average brush This brush was good at first. I washed it ONCE with ELF brush cleaner and it never returned to its old self. It now applies very streakily and the bristles are clumped together. I wish I didn't wash it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good brush but leaves a lot of streaks I bought this about 3 weeks ago and while it is a good brush due to the point on it, it does leave many streaks and isn't the easiest to blend out. Excellent for getting into smaller areas of the face though.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Broke after 2nd use! I bought this product a few months ago during a haul and the brush head broke off after the 2nd use. Good quality on that one use, just wish that the product lasted longer...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful for tight spaces This works so well in the tight spaces around the eyes .. I use it for eye brightening and setting powder. It keeps the powders ON itself, until and unless you stroke it on and does NOT fling the powders all over the place.. Love it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for harder to reach places! I love this pointed foundation brush because it allows me to easily get into sensitive areas around the nose.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite so far! I love this brush for spot application of cream/liquid foundation, just where I want the foundation, not all over my face, it makes the foundation blend into my skin perfectly. I also use it for contouring with powder blush and bronzer, the pointed shape is excellent for that purpose, and the hair brush is firm yet has a soft feel on the skin. Also love that it is taklon, not animal hair, and it does not shed at all. Always shop cruelty-free!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from brush too fat I found that I'm wasting my foundation when ever I use this brush. It's too fat and absorb too much product in the middle. If you can find other use for it then good, because the brush is soft and good quality!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flawless smooth foundation application I had been using the essential line foundation brush for past 3 years but that was leaving streak marks on my face which I had to blend out a lot with a sponge or tissue. This Studio brush is excellent, uniquely shaped & leaves no streak marks You can apply with decent precision in tight corners. It of course does eat up a little product as it is a luscious brush. It is very soft as well. No bristle fallout in 3 months of use.Just clean with the daily brush cleanser every week and with a shampoo every 2 weeks. Love this & will definitely repurchase!
