Rated 2 out of 5 by from I had high hopes I had heard a lot of good things about this brand of cosmetics and had a lot of hope that I could wear it. I have developed seriously sensitive eyes over the past two years and have been trying brand after brand. I bought this in Toasted. I tried it and wore the make up for about 8 hours. It felt heavy on my eyelids even during application. That may have been my own issues. But as far as a product it was a disappointment as well. There was very little pigmentation and I had to use A Lot to make the color show up. When it did show up what seemed to be a beautiful pinky brown looked sallow yellow. The color seemed to migrate and disappear throughout the day. Normally this is not a problem for me in any brand. The packaging was very nice and a lot of product was there. It just lacked pigmentation. I will not use again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Beautiful! I bought the eye shadow in the shade Pixie and I couldn't be happier. This color is great for bringing out hazel eyes and I love how smoothly it applies. I would recommend an eyelid primer before applying it, but other than that this product is perfect!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Eyeshadow if you Like Shimmer I bought "enchanted", "toasted", and "burnt plum" a few months ago. They have really good coverage that lasts a long time without creasing. I was a bit surprised that "enchanted" turned out to be a very golden yellow color since the picture shows it more as beige/peach. The "toasted" is the beige/peach which I thought it would be more of a medium/light brown, but it is really pretty and I like it a lot. I bought "burnt plum" because I LOVE the purple and peach eyeshadow in the "California" Baked Eyeshadow Palette . It is a bit dark for me for everyday wear, but it looks nice as an evening color. They are all VERY shimmery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another great eyeshadow from elf Got this for free from the promotion FlushBlush and i cannot believe how much i love this product. I got the shade Toasted and it is gorgeous. These apply really nicely dry or wet which is what really sold me because im not a huge fan of baked products because alot of them do not apply well dry. These are gorgeous wet or dry. I was so impressed i picked up the rest of the line. I really hope they more colors like green or blue

Rated 5 out of 5 by from works great when i use fingers I bought this along with some other products for my first purchase ever from elf. After reading the reviews and trying it myself, ive realized they work really well when I use my fingers to apply them. I couldn't get ant product on when using a brush. I think I'll purchse the mist & set and give that a try.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the best I was so excited to get this since a lot of people love it, however it is so gritty that it made my eyelids itchy! I wore it to work and I just could not wait to take my makeup off at night, or what was left of it because these aren't long wearing either. I'm disappointed but I guess for the price its good. Maybe ill use it for special occasions when I know I'm not going to be wearing it for a long time. If you have sensitive skin stay away from this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful color! I love this eye shadow! I had never tried a baked eye shadow before discovering elf, so I thought why not? I had heard that you can apply it dry for a subtle look, or apply wet if you want a more pigmented look, and that was a bit weird to me. But, I bought one in the color "bark," and it's beautiful dry or wet! I absolutely love it! I plan on purchasing more!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from "Apply dry- Subtle. Apply Wet- Vibrant Effect." I was worried after putting my order in, as I had never used baked products and a lot of reviews I read here and elsewhere said the pigmentation was weak.Upon reading the back of the package I could see the issue. Now, I have super fair, classic ivory skin. So the three colours I got (Toasted, Chocolate Dreams and Bark) looked quite pigmented on my eyes dry. Now, at first I just dabbed my brush on the colour pot like I usually do- not much pigmented. Then I sort of swirled the brush in it- whoa pigment! So, if you try 'em dry and don't like it, try them wet! I did swatch them on my hand wet- too dark for my paper skin, especially the two browns.I love these. So creamy and smooth. They look great together- I added some colours from the Naked Prism Palette and used Moonlight Pearls baked highlighter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So pretty I got five of these baked eyeshadows. Chocolate dreams, Moonlight Serenade, Bark, Toasted, Enchanted, and Pixie. None of them NEED to be foiled, but when you do foil them, the color payoff is really vibrant. If you use a good primer though, they still have great color payoff, but, without the added sheen, and that's how I like to use them. These have awesome color, and at the price point, are an amazing value. You can get looks out of these shadows that are as good as products that are at least five times the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These individual shades are much better... I also have one of the palettes but for some reason these are much more pigmented and apply better. For a soft shimmery application use them dry or use the Mist & Set or Lock & Seal to apply them wet for a more intense result. The darkest color still isn't too intensely pigmented but you can still deepen the crease and outter corner nicely. Great for contouring the eye and brightening the lid and inner corner. Great for a newbie to makeup or for a nicely blended eye that still looks polished but not overly dramatic. A quick and easy eye! I wish they would bring back Burnt Plum and the Blue. Burnt Plum is my favorite out of the bunch! Only down fall would be that these do kick up a lot of powder and some people will be looking for more pigmentation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Color I bought this a while ago and love it. When I apply it, I wiggle my brush ever so slightly as I pull it across. Great pigment, very affordable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Eye Shadow For It's Price I absolutely love this. When I first discovered E.L.F it was inside Telco, and it did not look good. It looked cheap and I wasn't happy with their products. I found out they have a store and when I went I was thinking it would look cheap and not be worth the price. But since I was in really in need of eyeshadow I just decided to buy the baked in purple. I've never heard of baked makeup before so it sounded interesting. Since then it completely changed my view on E.L.F. It is really worth the price. It's true to it's color and it's really nice texture. I usually use it wet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love, Love, Love I started by getting the color Enchanted, after using it I immediately purchased all of the colors!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Moonlight Serenade I purchased "Moonlight Serenade". I guess from the picture I thought it looked more "white-ish". I definitely is yellow! Alot of yellow undertones. Not what I was expecting. Not horrible (would probably look good in the summer, with a deep tan, or if you are wearing a shirt with yellow/gold undertones.) However, for me personally it doesn't look that cute. I was thinking it would be more of a soft, light "Ivory" color. Not horrible, just not for me personally. I just wanted other people to know that it has a definite yellow/gold hue (not golden though, yellow.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highly pigmented When used wet, all of these shadows are amazing. I own every color and I love them. Some of them can be used dry as well, but I prefer to use a little bit of fix+, eye drops, or water to get them to shine and be very metallic. I love them! Can't beat them for the price!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, not great. I was hoping this eye-shadow would give me more of that golden color, but no matter how hard I use my brush on it, it still doesn't seem to give me the effect I'm hoping for and just leaves the leftovers all over my face. To me, there's nothing really special. It gets the job done, but not the way I had purchased it for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love this stuff! I have tried two shades and they look great together and by themselves. You can use this product wet or dry. You get a lot of product for your money. The shades look great on different skin tones.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty color, hard to put on. I bought this a few weeks ago, and I have been using it daily. I have light skin and a non-oily skin type. The first time I used it, it did not show up on my eyelid. It was very faint and I could not tell I had it on, unless I looked very closely.I tried several different brushes, my finger, a q-tip, and so on. It was still very faint and wore off by midday. Finally, I tried wetting it, and it stayed on very well and I could see the color. Overall, I love the shade and it does stay on now that I wet it before use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from enchanted with "Enchanted" Got this about a month ago in my very first order. Very satisfied with both the color and texture. This is a shimmery pearl-gold that I imagine would look great on people who range from very pale to very dark. I'm a brown grrrl, deep gold in the summer, slightly paler in the winter, so I need products that suit my varied skin type/tone/color. My use of this eyeshadow varies from "natural" application on just the lids so I look more awake in the morning, to a shimmery glam look where I apply a few layers all around the eye and lining both lids. The overall effect is dreamy and golden no matter how much I apply. I'm incredibly stoked to have this as my signature eyeshadow.Another thing I appreciate about this product is that, unlike a lot of convex single eyeshadows, this one is not very messy at all. I apply it with small, broad and tufty or thin and precise brushes, and no matter what, it mostly sticks on the brush. Barely any spill over onto the compact itself. Might be vital for make-up users who are often running late in the mornings or simply too busy to have to clean up their bathroom counter per every makeup application.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Colour not as I thought Bought in "Bark" as appeared to be a grayish-brown shade but more of a bronze shade with red undertones that make me appear as if I'm sick. The texture, however, is very smooth and it has good pigmentation whilst not being overly heavy. Love that it's "baked" and less messy than loose powder mineral shadows. Just wished could have had a description of the shade before purchasing as very difficult to go by the photos.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Moonlight Serenade This color looks white on the website. I received it in the mail, and it's a sheer goldy glittery color. I have always used the Hard Candy white baked shadow to highlight. I accidentally dropped it and it broke, so I needed to replace it. Well, I have the ELF baked eye shadow palette, and LOVE the white in that, so I figured I'd just get a big one. Not even close. There is no white at all, just the glitter. Which is still pretty, but I wanted the shimmery WHITE color. I will use this somehow sometime probably. But very disappointed in the color. Still love the baked shadow palette a lot better. Probably won't buy the single ones again. ELF should do a written description of each color, so you'll know more about each color. That would be helpful.
