Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wet Wet Wet! At first I used it dry and it was good but then after reading the reviews here I tried it wet with a brush and whoa-what a huge difference! Much better application and intensity! I used a very good eyelid primer (from another brand-a drugstore brand) and this eyeshadow lasted all day! I have it in Bark and Toasted. I really wish there were more colors but I love this product. Seriously-try it wet!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely worth it These shadows aren't very pigmented when used dry, more of a sheer wash of color. Used with a setting spray, foiling mixture, or even just water for short-term wear, they become rich and beautiful. However, my favorite thing is the formula. As a baked product, it's drier than most shadows and that's why I love it! In my last elf purchase, I accidentally grabbed two Toasted shadows. I kept one intact but scraped the other one out with a mascara wand and mixed it in with petroleum jelly to make a gel eyeliner! I wear it all the time with every day makeup. These baked shadows, as it turns out, mix beautifully with petroleum jelly to make versatile products. I'm so pleased with this happy accident and will definitely purchase more shades for the same purpose!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Smells awful!!! I purchased the moonlight in November. Looks beautiful. But as soon as I opened the package, it smelled like a stink bomb. I applied anyway hoping the scent would fade. It did not. I had to wash my face to get rid of the smell. So disappointed

Rated 4 out of 5 by from disappointed and happy So I recently purchased the burnt plum and moonlight serenade. Gorgeous colours especially the burnt plum. However I'm gutted that while the burnt plum swatches very nicely on my finger it just didn't seem to get picked up on any of my eyeshadow brushes and I tried 3 just incase it was a fluke. Goes on really well with my finger but I'm not a huge fan of doing my eyeshadow that way so gutted on that side of things. But my god the colour is stunning it's a perfect blend of plum/burgundy/bronzey brown really the picture doesn't do it justice and if you have green eyes they will looking amazing with this colour on it just makes them pop!! Moonlight serenade is a gorgeous gold vanilla colour looks amazing on its own, over another colour as a's just beautiful no matter how you use it. So if I was asked to recommend these two colours I would say yes go for it, burnt plum is abit of hard work but it's worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't Say Enough The color is wonderful, but use lightly, you can blend it with other Baked Eyeshadows to achieve a dimensional look. It's the Season's color, but you can use it all year 'round!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hard to use I bought the toasted color about a month ago. The color is nice and its a nice size for on-the-go and you get pleny of eyeshadow for your money, but it's hard to use. Almost none of the eyeshadow comes off onto the brush. It comes off onto my finger but it doesn't go onto my eyelid well. I was very disappointed becuase i have a big face pallette from elf with tons of eyeshadows that work great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love these! I have 5 of these shadows and they are great! I've read some of the other reviews where they complain that they are rock-hard, won't pick up on their brush and/or finger... either they got a bad one, or there's a user error going on. About a year ago, I got Bark, Burnt Plum, and Pixie to go together for a shadow trio.... fell in love right away (they have become my go-to shadows, especially when I'm running late for work) and I have multiples of each in case they ever get discontinued. Wet or dry, they are pigmented (moreso wet than dry, but I generally use them dry) and very blendable. I eventually got Moonlight serenade (doesn't show up on my skin tone that well when dry, but I have yet to try it wet), and just today received Enchanted in a beauty box. These are excellent shadows for the price, so I don't get what the complainers are so hateful about!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sorry! Elf! Just received Bunt Plum in a gift package along with my order. This eyeshadow is rock hard so it can't be picked up by brush. I tried it wet and though the color did transfer you cannot blend it and in doing so the luster disappears.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible quality and color I bought this a few weeks ago and received it today. The shade enchanted is terrible! Upon opening it, it felt like there was a film on the shadow. I tried swatching it with my finger and nothing came out, same with a brush. The only way I could get some color payoff was with a damp brush but it was still chunky.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New favorite I got the shade "enchanted" in a freebie promo around labor day and these baked shadows are now a new favorite of mine. I applied it with a wet brush and it wet on like a dream. So shimmery and pigmented. I will be buying more shades! Thank you so much elf ❤

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Used! I bought these because they were recommended to me by someone. I know that you have to use them damp/wet. You can you Mac Studio Fix or Elf's setting mist on a brush. These are amazing eyeshadows. You just have to wet them to get the full intensity.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Moonlight Pearls is the best for fair skin. I ordered this in Moonlight Pearls on 7/27/16 and I am very satisfied with the product. It suits my porcelain pale skin therefore it doesn't give me the orangey look many cosmetics tend to give me. It definitely gives more dimension to my face as well as well as bringing out my unnoticeable nose, brow bones, forehead and cheekbones. I found it to be a bit difficult to get enough product off because it was baked in so well, but other than that it is such a wonderful product. A little goes a long way. It's a must need for anybody who wishes to achieve flawless and dewy skin. Much love!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite Shadow I bought this in Bark a long time ago and loved it. I also bought a Naked palette. I use this shadow more. Goes on smoothly and boldly. I've tried one other color (plum) and it didn't seem as pigmented. Bark is where its at.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy Enchanted Let me start by saying I don't use this as an Eye shadow but as a HIGHLIGHT, its Gold with pinkish undertones, so gorgeous, there is a film of idk what on it when you first buy it, but if you scrape a layer off the color pay off is amazing! I own 2 just in case they decide to discontinue it, I own many high end highlighters but this is my go to!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from No pigmentation I have tried this wet and dry, with a fan brush, a tapered blush brush, a dense eyeshadow brush and even my fingers and there is absolutely no pigmentation at all. I can rub my finger on the product for 20 seconds and there is still no pigmentation on my finger.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from good brought this just over a month ago, and i wasnt sure what to expect but am not crazy over it simply because you have to wet the brush in order to get a lot of product on to it. I am still learning how to use this. I haven't quite got there yet. Hoping i will fall in love with it. Colour is gorgoues

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great as an alternative I bought this product then later forgot about client Morgan decided that she wanted an illuminating effect as far as the foundations finish so I crushed some of Moonlight serenade,I then added a drop of glycerin and mixed this in with Estée Lauder's double wear foundation,The outcome was just amazing

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very nice Lovely colours, ordered another for myself. I also think the colour enchanted could be slightly more pigmented.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I LOVE THIS I was so exited to get this product! I bought one in the color "toasted". When i swatched the color it was pigmented , but when i added water it was super pigmented! The colors are intense and last all day!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from more than amazing!!! i have 2 of the baked palletes which are great but when i got the color toasted of the larger singles i was blown away. if you wear it dry the pigmentation was normal but with water i was blown away i was so excited i showed all my friends the swatches i took!! i am obsessed with this product only down side is there isnt many singles options and they are always out of stock i also love my palletes but for some reason they arent as richly pigmented? has anyone else had this problem with the palletes? and also 3 dollars for one product is high when you can get8 colors in the pallete for 10 dollars but i would say its worth it

Rated 2 out of 5 by from not worth the hype I was so excited when the colors I wanted finally came back in stock after hearing them be so hyped up by several Youtubers. However, the color, while beautiful at first, blends away so easily even after wetting them.
