Rated 5 out of 5 by from This stuff is awesome! I mix a couple of drops with my foundation and it stays on all day long without having to do touch ups. I was hesitant at first because of it's sticky, glue like feeling but now I use this everyday. I've never purchased anything quite like this stuff. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most amazing stuff for very oily skin!!! My skin is extremely oily and I have very sparse eyebrows that I have to draw on daily. If I don't lock them down with this they're literally all over my face within a couple hours, eww! The secret to this stuff is to PAT or DAB on. If you try to spread it otherwise, it will mess your powdered makeup up pretty bad. I seriously can't live without it!! I do prefer a smaller brush than the one it comes with, however, it does work in a pinch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from also Awesome for Glitter! i just bought this a few days ago used it on my lid and lips and i was very satisfied that it stayed all day... i also used it for glitter, so that it can stick to my lid and it worked so well... a little to well (lol). As a makeup artist, i will defiantly use this on clients. Also, this should be in every makeup kit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I want more!! I love this! It works very well! I actually put it in a spray bottle to set my entire face. It's way better than Set & Fix or Myst & Fix spray... Can't remember the name of it. But this is way better! They should sell it as a spray!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It Works! Love This for Lips I bought this product a few months ago and have only used it a few times since. I have yet to try it on my lids (e.l.f.'s mineral primer has done such a good job, I haven't really felt the need to), but I use this every time I want to do a bold lip, especially red. While this has always been a rare makeup treat for me, I'm doing bright and bold lips more and more because of this product -- it seriously works, and between this and a liner, my $1 red lipstick lasts hours, which I didn't think was even possible. So looking forward to trying this out with the rest of my makeup during the hot and humid Philly summer. Still not sure how I feel about the brush... I think I'd rather stick with my own, as the small handle seems unwieldy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Use it all the time This is a great versatile product. I use it to foil eye shadows, turn pigments into eyeliners, for glitter, and on my lid to make non pigmented eyeshadows pop. I love it!. But if it gets into your eye it can sting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It really works- no more eyeliner smudging! I stopped wearing eyeliner (upper and lower) for a long time because in a matter of hours, I would have raccoon eyes from the liner smudging to the bottom of my eyelids!! *YIKES* I tried EVERYTHING, including "waterproof liners", but the same thing would eventually happen (yes, I even tried the Aqua line MakeUp Forever eyeliners- no go!). I followed a commenters advice, I place 3 to 4 drops in the clear small container, then I dab/soak one flat side (including the tip) of the brush. I then DAB (not smear or swipe) the soaked FLAT side of the brush on my eyeliner, or eyeshadow..gently dabbing. I then wait for it to dry (just a few seconds), and DONE! I actually get to wear eyeliner again and I'm absolutely delighted to do so. I used it this morning (7am) for my cateye liner look, and it's now 5p and NO raccoon eyes! I've got to stock up on this stuff. Definitely worth it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for All-day Looks I bought this with a few other items and it is awesome. It works great as a top coat to keep shadows in place all day and as a mixing medium with shadows to create great pigments. It dries quickly and lasts all day. It will make your brush a little stiff, but it washes out of the brush fairly easily. Great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it!!! I cannot go out w/out it. I use it for my eyebrows & omg it wrk so well. My eyebrows always disappeared since I started using gel & not pencil. I applied this after & last me all day. I wouldn't recommend using it on ur waterline bc it stings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works very well! When I first got this, it told me to put it on by applying the eye shadow with it. That way worked very well, except that it was making my eye shadow wet and not the usual texture... So I put it on after I applied my eye shadow. Works very well! and it comes off fairly easy! Win Win!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I enjoy this Product... I bought this at target as I have golden brown skin, and I prefer products with strong pigment. I use it to intensify my eyeshadow, and it does just that. I must warn you though, that it takes some practice, so if you don't like it at first, give it a chance. To clean your brush, DONT WASH IT FIRST! When the brush is dry, use your finger to flick the bristles and flake away the dry product, THEN wash. That was the best way for me to keep it clean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from this stuff works! I was skeptical with this product, but after a few uses, I became a believer. I have been using it for my eyeshadows and making my gel liners last longer. Today I used it for my eyebrows for the first time since I was going to work out. I used the elf eyebrow kit and dipped the brush in the makeup lock & seal. I was sweating a lot and was worried that my eyebrows were going to be a mess but they weren't.   Worked out at 230 and it's 930 pm right now. My eyebrows still look amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This stuff is amazing!! I have never had eye make up last so long. I've had it on for up to 14-15 hour and it looks like I just applied it. You can't even feel it. Just don't use the brush that comes with it. Get a different brush. Other than that, Love it!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great for glitters! I have purchased this twice so far and I am still in love with it. It is so versatile!! I use it for my glitters to set on my eyeshadow and it really holds all day. It always works great at preventing creases. Works great to create an eyeliner with glitters and shadows. Very happy with the product. Definitely worth it and will more than likely be purchasing again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I had high hopes for this product After always having to do a midday touch up, I was very excited to order this product. However, when i received it, it was leaking all over and was all sticky. It was almost all gone, so I just trashed it. I love elf products so much, but this makes me nervous to purchase any more products, although, against my better judgement, I probably will

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing !!! This stuff kept my eyeshadow vibrant and crease free ( used my elf mineral primer with it ) ALL DAY.  I love it. The sprout does seem to drip out alot but eh for the price and quality I can over look it. it can also be used to set eyebrows !!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from hate it! terrible, everything is bad about this product literally. It burns your eyes, smears your make up, irritates your eyes all day, doesn't even "lock" your make up into place AND product has gunk all over the packaging so you get this gross product all over your hands. Usually I LOVE elf make up I have tons of it and order more at least once a month. I highly suggest simply buying the eyeshadow primer on here instead, the mineral version by elf works the best to keep your eyeshadow in place ALL day long

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What a mess I bet this works really well. I had to throw it away though because it had emptied at least half out during shipping + was soaking wet + super sticky.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Setting the Stage I have very sensitive, oily skin which sheds eye shadow and liners like crocodile tears and oxidizes foundations and blushes like rusting iron. The advent of primers was a gold-letter day for me, but primers are problematic because of the skin sensitivity issue. Enter, e.l.f. Studio - Makeup Lock & Set, (cue angels voices singing in triumph). This product locks my shadows on my lids and converts them into liners that won't budge, without any eye irritation or smudging. I could not wear my beautiful e.l.f. Baked Eyeshadow Palette in "California" without this product. My eyelids are "older", (very hooded, wrinkled) and Lock & Set deepens the baked shades, giving them depth and staying power, while also damping down the shimmer to a manageable soft sheen. I have created many gorgeous evening eye looks with the "California" palette and my best buddy, Lock & Set. If you have problems wearing shadows and liners, I highly recommend Makeup Lock & Set.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from GREAT!!! I bought this a few days ago, and I love it, Just dab on a little over your eyeshadow and it lasts forever. Its super easy to apply and it doesn't smudge your make up itself. It kinda gives you a water proof finish, which is perfect for Spring break. :) && not to mention how inexpensive it is. I got this on a 50% sale for $1.50 and it shipped really fast. I'm glad I bought it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good But Ruins Brushes iWas Excited To Try Out This Product, It Does Say What Its Going To Do For The Most Part iGuess. HOWEVER, It Kinda Ruined My Brushes After iFollowed The Directions On The Back.. So iStarted Just Applying It Right To My Eyelid And Then Putting On My EyeShadow .. It Works But Be Careful It Doesn't Go Into Your Eyes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great but cheap packaging i bought this a few months ago to seal my eye brow products in place. it works well for the price, but the cap broke and the product spilled and evaporated it seems like. i am going to get another and hope the cap doesnt break. not a holly grail item though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works amazing I'm so glad I bought this. I bought eye shadow from elf and I put it one, and it just wiped right off. Then I used the lock and seal and the eyeshadow was locked in place until I used makeup remover. Really excited to use this for pageants and performances.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Use those under-pigmented eyeshadows! This stuff is a MUST HAVE. I can't believe it hasn't gotten more buzz! It will intensify any eye shadow you own, and make it last all day and into the next. How many times have you bought eye shadow that looked great in the pan, but when you get it home and try it, there's no color payoff? Well, drop a couple drops of this into the little plastic thingy, get your brush really damp, dip or rub the brush onto the eye shadow, and apply. It will be the exact color you see in the pan and won't budge all day. It wears comfortably, and it can be used to keep eyeliner and maybe even lipstick on all day. Any glitter in your eye shadow won't end up on your face. The only problem with it? It will dry on the brush you use and make the bristles really stiff, so I recommend washing it off the brush right away. It also may feel a little stiff on the eyelids, but it's not uncomfortable and the results are worth it. ELF does it again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wish it was in a better container I love this product. I mainly use it to create my liquid liner. The only problem I have with this product is the plastic container; over time the lid crack or the bottle crack leading the products to leak. However, I do like the design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! This is a very big statement for me to make (being such a huge e.l.f. fan) but I'd say this is my favorite product. Period. Not just from e.l.f., but from any other makeup line I've tried (and I'm an admitted makeup hoarder:) My face is stupid and basically repels makeup... Before the Lock & Seal, my foundation (e.l.f. and every other brand) seemed to melt off within a couple hours of application. I now mix my liquid foundation with a drop or so of this little piece of heaven. I apply that mixture with a foundation (then stipple) brush, just like I've always done. The only difference is that now it stays all day/night long! My second favorite use of the Lock & Seal is to mix a bit with my eyeshadow (loose, mineral, pressed, baked...). Not only does it make my shadow last like never before, but it makes the color-payoff really amazing, even more-so than a lid primer (Though, I do still use a primer in conjunction with the Lock y Seal.) I also mix a bit with my concealer to help with it's staying power. I have even used it with a lipcolor stick (gloss-like).I order several of these with each order, and I give them to friends/family/customers as little 'prizes'. Everyone loves this stuff (almost) as much as I :-)So, yes- I recommend this product- a million times over!FYI- I am a bartender, and I work 7pm-5am at a busy nightclub. I stay crazy busy the entire night. I've done this for 11 years and this is the only product that has ever held up through an entire shift!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not the best. I received this as a Christmas present, and I used it on my eyeshadow. It didn't work as well as I saw it on a tutorial on YouTube. When I went to go clean the brush with the e.l.f. Brush Shampoo, not all of the product came out of the brush, therefore making the brush unusable from now on.
