Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! Got this one in Flirtatious and Sociable... They both look great - very bold. Slides on smooth, stays on long... They are Matte - which I like, but once you put on some gloss over - they are great too !

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Essential Lipstick in Nostalgia Was not the color showed in photos, was a lot lighter and almost looked more like a conccealer than a lipstick. I could use it as a base for other lipstick, but it had very splotchy application and I over all think it is not worth the money

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Lipstick This lipstick has beautiful pigmentation, but doesn't last as long as I would like. I really liked the tube and application it came in and the product itself is pretty moisturizing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surprisingly really good! Bought recently didn't know if it would be long lasting but turned out to be better than any lipstick I own. From the more expensive brands to cheapest this lipstick has proved to be the best!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome product So easy to apply, super affordable and very cute shades

Rated 4 out of 5 by from classy This color is really beautiful, but it's not as creamy as the other 2 I bought, this one is a little more drying on the lips and this lipstick doesn't last long as soon as you ear or drink something the lipstick comes off, so you will have to reapply but for the cost over all its a good value

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Pretty! I personally like the darker shades of these lipsticks. These are also nicely pigmented while making my lips look bold and beautiful. I don't normally wear lipstick all the time, but Elf lipsticks are definitely a favorite for me at a great price :)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from More of a tinted balm than a lipstick. I bought Classy and was disappointed that the color was completely different than the picture. It's more of a nude pink

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broken in Half Bought this recently, and it was broken in half (the actual lipstick, not the container)! I might have been able to salvage it by melting it down and putting in a different container, but the lipstick wasn't any good anyway, so yeah. Don't. Just don't.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great lipstick for price, not very Posh colored $1 lipstick?! Can't beat it. Excellent quality, excellent price. Applies nicely, creamy, no weird smell, lasts pretty dang long... all good stuff. However, as a lipstick addict that loves some serious crazy color, this one failed :( I wanted a rich, pigmented, bright Post color. What I got was a nice pink, which kinda just enhanced my already pink lips. I no likey pink - I like reds and purples. So I'll keep it in my makeup bag, but will opt for darker colored e.l.f. lipsticks in the future.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great texture, not much color payoff I bought this in the color Nostalgic and actually really like it. As a lip balm. There's really no nude color payoff but the texture is fabulous. If you're looking for a little touch of color it's really nice, but not if you're looking for a really sexy opaque nude shade.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from for the price i got two of these [nostalgic and fearless] and for the price, theyre okay. the nostalgic is nice, it comes out as being a pastel pinkish color, although the fearless [despite looking red] comes out as a hot pinkish color. it's good if youre looking for that kind of color, although it definitely does not look like it does in the picture. for the price though, theyre not bad

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I bought this in the shade classy and was a bit disappointed to find that the shade was completely different from the online picture. It's less of a medium mauve-ish color and more of a cool-toned bubblegum pink. It's actually a very nice color, but it doesn't flatter my warmer skin tone as much as the online picture looked like it would. The quality is alright. It looks a bit patchy and sticks to chapped lip areas. Is it a bad lipstick? No. But would I buy it again? No.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely My Favorite Lipsticks These are a great price, are long lasting, and don't dry out lips. I've been using the essential lipstick for like 2 years now and it's my favorite! Even my expensive lip brands are not up to par like these are! Super pigmented as well!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Can't beat the great price I bought this in Classy, because it's a near perfect dupe for M.A.C. Angel lipstick. For only a buck, this lippie is amazing!Yes, it's not exactly as smooth as some of E.L.F.'s other lipsticks, but it's very good quality and is just as good as some of the more expensive drugstore lipsticks.**Side note: I top Classy with L'Oréal's leGloss lip gloss in 151 Baby Blossom. It's almost exactly the same as Nars Turkish Delight lip gloss. I only mention this because those two colors used together seem to be really popular with local makeup artists.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for the price! I purchased in Sociable and Classy! They are absolutely beautiful! They also smell amazing too! I have yet to try them, I bought them for my birthday weekend next week but when i swiped them i was really excited.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Smooth finish I got this in the mail today and immediately tried it out. To my dismay I was a little disappointed with how it went on but it was fairly easy to build up. It has a nice finish despite the work it takes to build up to a nice color

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lippy Lippy's here are always good - I bought the wrong shade too light so I'm using it as base coat - tastes nice

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very soft and dainty This was the very first lipstick I bought from elf. It really is an essential lipstick, especially for beginner make-up users. The pigment isn't the brightest, but another layer of it takes care of a sometimes lackluster color.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value! One dollar for this lipstick. Great! Affordable. But it is not enough moisture.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't beat it for the price! Was completely surprised by the quality. Pigmented and long wearing. I received this in one of their curated kits, in the color posh, and got lots of compliments the first day I wore it. They're a little dry, but for the price they are amazing!! More pigmented then the moisturizing lipsticks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Depends on the color I recently got classy and flirtatious and didn't like how pigmented they were, but then I tried again with fearless, sociable, and posh and I loved those! They looked more like normal colors than the other two, which I just threw away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite lipstick It's hard to believe that my favorite lipstick is only one dollar. I bought this a couple years ago and have been in love with it ever since. It is the perfect blue-toned red for my skintone, and I receive numerous compliments whenever I wear it. The formula is super smooth and does not feather. It barely fades when you wear it. It also smells fantastic as well. Highly recommend. I love the shade Posh, it's perfect.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great $1 Lipstick I own two shades, Posh and Fearless, and both of these are fantastic. Posh is a very wearable deep pink with red undertones. It's so pretty and natural. They smell great too.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very disappointing Bought the colour 'Nostalgic' as I thought it would be a lovely nude colour, however when it arrived I realised it was a lot paler than appeared online was a more milky pink, which completely washed me out (and I'm pretty pale, usually the 2nd lightest foundation colour). The packaging feels incredibly cheap and the lipstick itself was very streaky and snapped after just 2 uses. I'll be sticking to the mineral lipsticks from now on!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok... I bought this is Posh and Nostalgic.Nostalgic is way too light; applying it to my lips made it appear I had no lips since it blended in with my skin tone. Wayyyy to light, it should be called a white nude! I should've read and listened to the reviews. Believe me, they are right!Posh made my lips look a gross redish-orange. It's not what it looks like online.I really wanted the brownish color one since that color looks the best on me, but it's always out of stock. For $1, you get what you pay for. These also dry my lips out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from CLASSY is SASSY I bought this lipstick in CLASSY. The color is a bit more muted than the website shows. It's a nice everyday pink. Thick, but lip balm first takes care of that. Good value for a buck.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Just a gloss really I bought this in Nostalgic. I layered and layered and only got a sheer gloss effect. No color payoff. Packaging is poor. Worth a dollar I guess.
