Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bought almond for bronzer It's comparable to Nars bronzer not just in packaging.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Caramel discontinued?? No!!! I love this powder, it is very comparable to my $30 studio fix powder in NW30 in the shade Caramel... But it seems it's been discontinued! The hunt for an affordable, full coverage pressed powder continues!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like this powder. It lasted all day whenever I apply it. The applicator that comes with it is useless and I don't use it. It appears well and lasts. The only complaint I would have is that there is not as much powder in the case as I thought.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent I bought caramel it's a good color, a little redish undertone however. This powder doesn't mattify me it's more of a satin finish. Looks good, feels good, I think it's worth it

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It works it works, but could have a little better coverage, and I would like to see a few more shades.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for price I bought this a while ago and never really got into using it until about a week ago. I like it but the applicator that comes with it cakes it on a lot and can leave powder resting on your face.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome powder! Great coverage, this is truly a hidden gem! Compared to high price powders it holds it's own. Used with the complexion brush and one tap is enough for half face. Can't beat price either

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Porcelain looks orange I purchased this for my teen daughter who is very fair skinned. In day light the porcelain looks orange. Very disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compared the sand to Neiman Marcus de de peau b20 And they were a perfect match. I had the de de peau on the right side of my face, and the elf on the left side of my face. Both covered my skin identically. I was mad because I paid three dollars for the elf and 98 for the Neiman Marcus. Now the packaging was a little better with Nieman Marcus but not 95 dollars better. In other words. I love me some elf.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not for fair skin This is a great powder, but even the lightest option is too dark for me (a problem I don't normally have with fair/porcelain colors).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect color and finish with a brush I love love love this product, but I am looking for the "Buff" color which they are temporarily out of - 3 to 5 weeks. Bummer. I find that the powder works best with a fluffy brush, and you can pinch down on the bristles to make a firmer brush for contouring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as powder foundation This is a total dupe for Mac Studio Fix Powder Foundation for me. Love it for those laid back days!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Way too dark I bought this little guy in Porcelain and it's just yellow. I'm sure it's a nice product in your own skin colour but this was like jaundice powder for me haha.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product! The colors online look pretty light, and when I first got it I thought it was going to be too light, but it turned out to be a perfect match! I did watch some YouTube videos to determine which color would be best for me before ordering though. I have light/medium skin and ordered "sand" despite how I was gravitating towards "buff." Like the other pressed products I have from elf (I have a couple of the pressed mineral blushes), there is a lot of fallout, but the application is smooth and easy (I use the mineral powder brush), and the coverage is great despite the mess. I use this over the Flawless Finish foundation (the shades in the foundation match the shades of the powder; they are meant to be used together), and it really does look flawless and not as though I have a lot of makeup on my face. This would have definitely been a 5 star product if not for the fallout--it is pretty extreme, but I can overlook that for the payoff of the coverage and consistency of the product. I wouldn't recommend this for "on-the-go" since it is messy, but still well worth the $3. Perhaps I will use the felt pad that it comes with it underneath the pan and maybe there will be less fallout.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Super crumbly I ordered this powder after I had read a few reviews on it comparing it to Mac studio fix powders. Personally I've never tried any Mac powders so I thought I'd give it a try. On my first attempt the powder gets so messy and the coverage is blotchy. Second attempt was similsr . overall I disliked this product

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Use a brush!!! I bought this powder in the shade almond as the was the colour that matched my skin tone the most but when I used it with the powder puff it came with it went waayy too dark and looked really bad but I didn't want to give up on it just yet. When I next used the powder, now with a big fluffy blush brush, it was perfect! The powder went on so smoothly and matched my yellow toned skin amazingly. I usually can't find a powder that matches my skin colour unless it's overly priced but this was honestly perfect. I can use it on it's own with just a little concealer underneath or over foundation and it's still great.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from nice powder, but odd color reaction I have to agree with another reviewer about this product changing color. I too buy the sand color, and it looks like a perfect match from the pan to my skin. However, when I apply it with a very high quality, clean puff, it changes to a darker orange on my face and the puff. The powder itself appears to be high quality, finely milled, and has no aluminum or parabens (a deal breaker for me), so I had high hopes. But my face goes progressively darker as I wear it. I can get away with applying with a brush very lightly, but that reduces the coverage, so I recommend it, but with restrictions. I have combo, mature skin. Why do you suppose this product is so unstable?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a good experience I bought this hoping for a cheap powder to wear for everyday but this one is just not for me. I have light yellow toned skin and often I get makeup that is light tan or light/medium. I though caramel might be a good pick especially when I get really tan. When I first saw it I thought yes this is a good match but once I put it on things went bad. It started oxidizing immediately. I was only wearing lotion and no primer. I put pictures to show one side of the sponge was the color of the powder and on the side that I used the color turned several shades darker. It also had an orange red color when it was on my face. This is the first time I used a powder from elf and I'm not sure I want to again.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Weird colours I have very pale skin, pink/blue undertones, so I bought a couple of different colours to try: porcelain and sand. They're both VERY yellow. In fact I'd call the porcelain orange. And they're too dark. REALLY miss the Pressed Mineral Foundation.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from ehh I ordered this product in the light shade and it looks orange on my face and when I got it, it was already a little broke. That didn't bother me much, but I was disappointed about it making a face appear orange.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from The color is pretty off, I bought it in porcelain and it is a little too dark. Plus it is unnaturally yellow, I have to blend it a lot into my usual foundation- which i use this powder over- in order for it to look more natural. It does, however, have great coverage over my usual foundation and concealer to further hide blemishes, again it just has to be layered and blended quite a bit to look natural and not yellow.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Color is a little "off" The product is just ok. I tried this because Flawless Face Powder ($2) was out of stock in my color. Even though I purchased the lightest shade, it was still too gold and heavy on my face. I used a powder face brush instead of the pad that came with the product and that worked better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I bought this a month ago and within a week of using it the applicator pad fell apart and there isn't a lot of powder in it. It's already almost empty but for $3 I guess you get what you pay for.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Powder Ok I really like this powder, it is a good shade for me- I got porcelain. The only problem is that when you try to apply it with a brush it powders everywhere and is messy. It comes with a little pad thing so I use that instead because it doesn't go everywhere with that and applies well. overall this is a good product for its price and the colour range is good

Rated 4 out of 5 by from In the beginning of the year I used the porcelain and it was slightly darker than my skin tone and after the summer I got a tan and almond works well for me now. It's a little powdery and the applicator it comes with isnt the best but the coverage of it is good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome Coverage I love love love this stuff. I used to use Sephora's brand of compact foundation until I switched to cruelty free cosmetics. This is absolutely comparable to Sephora's brand of foundation, as well as BareMinerals. I have a "spongy" round applicator that I use, instead of the one they provided. If you just use the foundation, it does leave an orange-yellow kinda tint by itself. I use "Porcelain", but if you put their Sunkissed? (cant remember the name, its a round compact powder) skin bronzer on over it and blend, it works perfectly and looks really nice!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from awesome amazing and applies THE BEST with a damp beauty blender Omggg ! I bought the lightest shade as I have a light completion, but in fact it is a bit darker then what it's displayed to be but was such a beautiful color it still matches very well with my skin and the coverage is great!!! Going to buy lots more
