Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am in Love! I fell in love with the idea of using a pressed power on top of my foundation from Mac Cosmetics; however their product is about 30+ dollars. Wayyyyy too much for something that is not necessarily needed per-say. I google to see if I could find a similar product, and I found this! It works amazing!!!! Just as good as Mac, if not better due to the low price. I love this product and will continue to purchase it. The only suggestion I would make is if you do not know your color, buy a couple that you believe would match because the color descriptions are a little off. I have a skin I would consider caramel by pictures, but that one was extremely too bright. I'm glad I bought almond to fall back on, which matched me perfect!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This powder is amazing, I apply it with the elf kabuki brush and it leaves a beautiful airbrush finish. I'm very fair and the color sand worked well for me. I have to brag on the packaging too it's really nice and sleek, nice size mirror too. This will stay in my makeup bag for as long as they make it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dilemma or Not a Dilemma Ordered this last week, came in the mail today. I got it in Almond and unfortunately, it's barely too light for my skin. Fortunately, I can use it as a softer contour, for days where I'm not going all out on my makeup. The one downside to this is that if I move my brush too much in the product, there's a lot of flaking.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok This is an okay item. The applicator really bad however, also the amount of powder is rediculous. My powder arrived broken, however that was fine, but i got to see the amount in it. Indeed very little. I have one by revlon which is quite similar, but it contains more. Wayyyyy more about the same price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from almond pressed powder I just got done applying almond pressed powder and I have to say I am amazed. this powder is full coverage goes on super smooth and it blends into skin which is amazing because I've never had a compact match my skin color ever. I definitely recommend this powder as I mentioned the coverage is awesome it coverrd up every blemish I have on my face , it give me an even skin tone

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Takes down shine fast. I enjoy the shine control of this powder and like it's packaging.... The powder puff stores under the powder tray instead of just resting in direct contact with the powder. That way, the puff is less likely to fall out if you open the compact hurriedly.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from i got this powder in almond and its looks like my skintone but then it changes darker and then it makes my makeup look muddy and cakey so i now use it as a contour shade,

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Soft Texture Bought a shade too light, but I really liked the texture and how it sets my makeup so I bought a shade darker in caramel. I like to use it alone over a primer and sometimes concealer. My face still gets oily and when I touch up it makes me look a little cakey, so I would rather blot than pack on more powder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this pressed powder. Really nice and soft coverage. I have fair skin and this product isnt too cakey or unnatural looking.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from USE SPARINGLY - worth it cuz it's MATTE I bought these hoping they would be everyday replaces for my nice NYX powder foundation. They are OK - you need to know how to apply powder foundation correctly for these to work. I use the included cotton pad VERY lightly/sparingly. If you apply a ton the color/tone IS NOT NATURAL. I find this looks best if you use a brush and lightly stipple/tap all over your face, then even spread it around. The applicator that comes with it doesn't do anything but pack all the makeup on to one spot and rub off your concealer/foundation.I put this on OVER my liquid foundation/highlight & contour to blend everything in together. Even thought the color is unnatural if you use too much, this stops shine dead in it's tracks! If you need a low cost alternative to a high end powder and need something with ZERO shine, this is a very good option! Because you don't need to use a lot it lasts a long time too. Very compact/convenient size - it's easy to carry with you. My final issue is that the lightest color is almost too dark. And I am a dark haired, medium to tan skinned person living in a northern climate so I am pale right now. If you are very fair skinned THIS WILL BE TOO DARK A COLOR FOR YOU.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Color too yellow The porcelain color is too yellow for my fair skin. I thought it would be a little lighter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best face powder I have ever used!! I have been using this product for several years now and still love it! I am pretty light skinned, but I use buff. It seems to go on too dark and looks bad at first, but it's all about blending it into your skin. I don't use the pad it comes with, I buy a 3 pack from walmart for like 2 bucks and they work a lot better. After you properly blend it, it looks so natural and not too dark at all! It stays on and looks very nice. This is literally the only foundation of any sort I have consistently used for the past 4 years! Love it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Seems okay if you select the right shade I bought this in sand because even though I have pale skin, the lightest powders tend to be too pale for me. Sand was definitely too dark, but I'm willing to try to pick up the lighter shade in store to see if that is a better match. I obviously haven't been able to test how well this lasts or wears throughout the day, but the texture seems nice and the price makes trial and error a little less painful to the wallet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I keep having to buy more! I just cannot put into words how much I love this compact. I wear it nearly everyday since I don't really like the heavy look of foundation so I just dust some of this on over primer and it gives just the right amount of coverage. I have to admit, the coloring is a bit strange since I would consider myself a light medium skin tone and in this compact Porcelain is what fits me, but it's not a problem for me. It would probably be a problem if you are super fair. But unless your skin rivals printing paper, I'd say your safe. Just keep it in mind when you make your color selection. Oh, and I wouldn't recommend using the little puff that comes with the compact. I use e.l.f.'s Complexion brush from their studio line. Works great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for setting. I don't like this as an actual foundation but this is great for setting foundation.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Chalky... Its a decent foundation. Its very chalky and therefore most of the product is lost through fall out. I use it as a setting powder for my Fit Me liquid foundation. I got two different shades while they were on sale. I most likely will not be buying again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps the Shine at Bay After putting on my makeup, I use this to go over my "T" zone. It takes the shine away but doesn't cake up. Lasts all day. I like that the packaging is small and thin. It has a mirror. The sponge applicator can be washed so it stays on the hygienic side. I keep one in my clutch and in my makeup drawer. Or throw one in my jacket pocket if I want to go purse free and can check my makeup throughout the day. I got "transluccent", which is a barely there look.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dupe for MSF Natural I couldn't love these more! They are comparable to mac mineralized Skinfinish natural. I own the Mac MSF in a couple shades and I own every color in the elf powder and still didn't pay as much as 1 MSF. I use the darker shades to contour with. They have awesome coverage. I will never purchase another MSF again. Thank you ELF!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 'Porcelain' too dark, and very orange. I'm not expert by any means, but it doesn't take an expert to figure out that her powder is too dark for her. I'm generally the lightest shade of makeup in pretty much anything, but this one just wasn't light enough. It also gave my face an orange, self-tan-gone-wrong sort of tinge. Definitely not cute, especially in the winter months!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Porcelain, Buff and Sand are very orange-y/yellow For the great price I bought the three lightest shades to see which matched my natural coloring. Porcelain, Buff and Sand all were very chalky with a strange orange/yellow cast to them. I threw them out, they are that bad. I've been a loyal ELF customer for years offline and online, but lately the products seem to be of much lesser quality. I went back to Avon pressed powder.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Porcelain too dark I bought the lighest color available and it is still way too dark for my skin. Too bad because the texture and coverage is terrific.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from "Porcelain" is orange! I usually LOVE elf makeup but I was not impressed with this studio pressed powder! I ordered 4 in my last order in the shade Porcelain and I'm sorry to say I regret it... I'm very fair skin and this powder makes my face looks orange while my neck and rest of my body is white. This powder also makes your face look chalky and thick. I guess for people who want really good coverage its ok, but its definitely not build-able or natural looking :(

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very powdery First thing I'll say is you cannot beat elf for price...You should try everything they have just because of the price....Give away what you don't like (if there is anything) and reorder all that you liked...With that said...I do not like this powder...I found it to be so powdery, I looked like the people from the 1700-1800's who powdered their faces and wore powdered wigs...You say "Use less"?...I used very little... I used it once and just did not like it...However I love the compact and it is a large size...so if you like this it is much worth the price...
