Waterproof Eyeliner Pen is rated 3.7577 out of 5 by 2,055.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I bought this in Hunter Green, Purple and Midnight. All three colors match the website swatches really well (although the purple is a bit more vibrant in person). The eyeliner goes on really well and is nice, easy and fast to use and definitely waterproof! I love this product and will purchase again!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dissapointing First eyeliner EVER to irritate my eyes, and I've tried my fair share.  I bought the teal and black colours, and both smudged and ran down my eyes after a few hours.  Very disappointing because I like the applicator, and the teal was a very lovely colour.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dried out?! I got this in a gift set, I believe, a few months back. When it arrived, it was VERY dried out and hard. I even cut the tip off to try and make it work better, and it just made it harder. The tip was not soft and just on my hand it was scratchy. It might have just been because it was in a gift set and I got a bad one? Maybe someday I'll try it again. For now, I'll stick to straight up liquid.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it! I'm about to purchase my third ELF eyeliner pen in black. I love how easy it is to apply and it stays all day long even without primer. For best results it should be stored applicator-down so that the product can saturate the tip of the pen for less drying out. The only issue I had was when I brought it with me on-the-go. The lid falls off easily in my purse and without the lid the pen dries out extremely quickly. Other than that it's a great buy for only $2!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice Tip I bought this about a week ago and I was actually hoping that it would be waterproof but it really wasn't.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I wanted to love this... This was the first eyeliner pen I had ever tried and I was so disappointed with it. I got it in Coffee and was expecting more vibrant color. It also dried up rather quickly. It definitely was only worth the one dollar. ELF products are usually a hot or a miss and this was a total miss:(

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaks & is much too watery I purchased this at K-mart and was very disappointed when I tried using it. The point was very pokey & painful, the liquid leaked all over my fingers, the outside of the eyeliner pen and the cap and the liner is much too watery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love i am an eyeliner junkie and this eyeliner is great for the price. only 2 dollars but the quality is great. dries matte. good pigmentation. swatched it on my hand, took a shower the next day, and it's still there, so yes it's waterproof. i would use a primer under it if you use it alone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best eyeliner My sister-in-law gave me this eyeliner as a stocking stuffer, and it's the best eyeliner I have ever used!  It is easy to apply and stays put even in the hot, humid summer days we experience in the South

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Save your money. I bought this looking for a good Waterproof eyeliner. I tried it shortly after I received it and was totally unhappy with it. It smudged. It ran. It leaked when wet. Just a total let down and waste of money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than Maybelline I received this in my first beauty bundle and I love it! Definitely the best I've used and it's the only eyeliner that has ever helped me to get a perfect wing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Just ok Bought a total of 3 of these few months ago. They were ok, you have to apply them twice to get a nice dark line. After a few applications though, the tip starts to bend and get wider losing that precise lining ability. Also doesn't last long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleasantly Surprised! I received this in the black shade in my recent beauty bundle and I couldn't be happier with it! :) It has a small enough tip to draw a thin line but you can also build it up to make it a thicker line. Overall the color is dark and very opaque. I haven't found it to dry out too much since I got it. It does smudge a tiny bit if you put it all the way into your inner corner but it smudges very little compared to other drugstore felt-tip liners i've tried. :)

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Waterproof Both my friend and I bought the black one in the ELF store in NYC. They were both dried out and had flimsy tips. When we swatched them on our hands we gave it a good 10 minutes to dry. They were not smudge proof WHATSOEVER and they came off extremely easily with water. Although it was only $2, we still regret spending that money. DO NOT BUY! If you want an actually good waterproof eyeliner pen, get the one from Milani.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dies out very fast~ When I got mine in the mail, 1 of the 3 was already totally dry before it had ever been used. The other 2 I had, dried out after a few uses. They would not draw over any eye shadow. Also, the caps would never stay on very securely. Such a shame. I really liked the colors.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Its ok I am more of a pencil eyeliner chick but I wanted to try the liquid eyeliner. I bought it in the black. The eyeliner is ok, but I do not think I would buy it again. Sometimes when I used it, it seemed like it would dry out in some in mid-use so I had to continue to press it to wet it back up. THe tip dried fast on it. and by the end of the day my eyeliner would wear off in some spots. The other problem I had with it was that it would be spotty when putting it on and so when I would go back to reapply it would just continue to take off the little bit that was there. I would finally just have to go back over it with my pencil eyeliner.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cap wasn't secure enough. :( It was't waterproof for me.I have combination skin, but even when I tested it on my hand (which is dry) I could easily rub off with my finger (which was also dry). When I first tried it I had to really press on my eye lid in order to increase the color (I chose black). I set it in my make up bag for next time and sadly when I was going to use it I noticed that the cap wasn't on the pen.It dried up and was unable to fully use it. :(I love e.l.f though, so I'm sure there are other options.(:

Rated 3 out of 5 by from good product, misleading name I bought these in hunter green and ash. They're not bad as far as felt tip liners go, but they're not great either. They're definitely not waterproof, they wear off pretty quickly (full disclosure, I have fairly oily lids, but I always use a primer), and they can get dry during application (just re-cap and shake); but the pigmentation is decent, and these two colors are quite nice. The felt tip is actually a good shape, and makes it easy to draw a thick or thin line. Overall, not a bad product -- just don't expect it to be longlasting or waterproof. If you're looking for a cheap felt-tip liner, want to learn how to do a cat-eye with an easy tool, or aren't looking for something longwearing, then this product is for you. I think it's an especially convenient way to experiment with bolder colors without a big pricetag, but for basic black or brown for everyday wear, you may want a longer-wearing formula.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Have had better; Have had worse. I bought this product in black a few months ago after trying the Victoria Secret eyeliner pen. While it does not stay quite as well as the VS it will stay on for a few hours and is good for touching up your eyeliner while on the go. Upon my first attempt to use this product I did not use a primer and/or eyeshadow and it showed up as a greyish color and got everywhere. The second time I tried it with my primer and it was easier to use and had more pigmentation. I would recommend shaking the pen before applying it and using a primer. It's not a complete dupe for the VS but it is still great and higher quality than most of the other cheaper pens I have tried.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My go-to This is my go to eyeliner when I want a dramatic winged lookI've been spoiled by expensive stuff, so I do notice that this does smudge. It makes drawing a wing really really easy and you're totally in control.I bought two of them. One was perfect. The other was completely dried out. I think that if you do find a dried out one, don't give up. You probably just found a bad one among all the great ones.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from NOT waterproof, light pigmentation I usually like all the elf Mineral products and decided to try the elf Essential for the water proof stuff. I got HunterGreen and Plum. Neither are waterproof. Both wiped off with my hand an hour later. Neither have good pigmentation. The feltpen tip is good but very little color comes out so you spend time redrawing and redrawing. I will stay with Almay liquid and Rimmel waterproof products. Sorry elf !!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Worth It I bought this product thinking it would be an easier way to apply liquid liner but I can't even use it. The first time I opened it I tried to use it but the pigmentation was so poor it barely showed up. In order to get it to show up I had to press hard on my eye and that did not work. But I will say, had the pigmentation been better I would have definitely liked the way it applied I found it was a lot easier to create the perfect winged look (although mine didn't show up very much)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from it was okay I bought this and was incredibly impressed by how prestige the brush was and it glide on like butter. But I have oily eyelids and after a few hours it started smudging. this is NOT waterproof at all. but its a good pen, maybe I'll just set it with black eyeshadow next time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not my Fav. I am a complete elf makeup lover, but this pen was not a good buy. Dried out, doesn't last and very low pigment.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality. The lid doesn't stay on so it was immediately dried out.. Never even got the chance to try it out, although the tip did feel a little rough to me when I tried to swatch it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Glides on beautifully! I bought this thinking it was going to be really bad because it was $2 dollars but honestly It was really good! You can apply a smooth thin line or a bold thick line. The only poor part is it has a really fragile tip and you can't really do any detailing when you lose the tip. Oh and make sure you take care of it because I put it in my backpack and it dried out but, I am definitely buying a new one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best liner I've ever used! I  bought this just to try out and I will never use any other  eyeliner again.  The  pigmentation is awesome and it lasts all day.  comes off easy when you remove your makeup.  It's not messy and so easy to apply!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from stings eyes This eyeliner used to be the best "marker type" on the market. Now that it comes in a white container instead of black, it stings and my eyes get red and swolen. They must have changed something. I have used this for about two years and could never find anything better. Now i can't use it at all!
