I ordered the rose color of this. From the picture/ settings on my computer, I thought it was going to be a more pinkish color and a lot lighter than it actually is. When I got it today, I was really apprehensive about it. It looks really reddish in person and pretty dark. I was really afraid that I would look like a clown when I put it on. After trying it out, it looks great! I don't have to use much at all because of the darker pigmentation of it, and it being the loose powder makes it easy to blend better for a more natural look. If you are picky about the coloring though, definitely be careful which you pick online. Sometimes the pictures can be deceiving!
Love this blush!! It lasts me forever and I love the color! I have tried three colors: Rose, Pink, and Plum. So far, the Rose color is best for me, especially during the summer. I just ordered Peachy. I'm hoping this works for me in the summer as well. The Plum was nice on me as well, but a bit too dark. My Hatian friend borrowed it and it worked well on her (a bit better than me I think). Funny that we could share the same shade blush since her skin is much, much darker than mine. This product stays on all day and will last a long time before you need a refill. *** Rememeber just a little bit goes a long way, and blend.
I always use BM Blush in Golden Gate. However, I got tired of paying $19 for blush. So when I saw this, I thought I'd give it a go. I ordered Coral and Rose. The Coral was WAY too light... almost didn't even show up on my medium skin. So I gave it to my 16 year old niece and she loves it. The Rose is VERY bright.... much, much brighter than the photo. However, I notice if I use a light hand, I can get it to be just the color I need. It lasts quite awhile as well. My only real complaint is that it tends to be streaky if I don't blend it 100%, very carefully. Other than that, I love it and will continue to purchase more.
This blush works reasonably well. I purchased it in Coral, but it was not at all what I expected. I thought it would be like a beige-ish pink colour, like it is on the site, perhaps a little different. However, it's very peachy pink and looks almost translucent on my skin, since I'm fair-skinned. I have to apply a fair amount for it to show at all. I like the blush itself, but the colour is off-putting. I should have bought Joy, but I thought it would be very bright pink, which would not look good on me, who is naturally fairly rosy. Anyway, I will still use this blush, but I ought to buy the bronzer next time.
I love ELF's line of mineral products. I was a little skeptical because it was so cheap. The products I buy are crazy expensive, but a great product. I decided to try their blushes first (I got all the colors at the time, the only one I'm missing is Joy), before I bought anything else. I thought if I didn't like it, I could always just give it to my little sister. [...] charges [$] for each blush... I got 4 for [$]. AND THEY ARE SO AWESOME! The colors look really gaudy on here, but trust me, they look SO natural when you put it on. Plus, this stuff can literally be layered -- what I mean is that you can control the darkness/lightness of it when you put it on. Thank you elf!!!!
I ordered my mineral blush in Bliss and was very suprised when tried it. I have been an avid user of the more expensive band mineral blushes and eye shadows, and could not believe how beautiful the color is on, I have fair skin and it matches my skin tone perfectly for a very natural , radiant look that lasted all day with no fadding. I'm very pleased and would recommend this blush for everyone to try and see if they don't fall in love with them all. I will be placing another order for more, You can't beat the price and excellent quality. The Expensive Mineral World has a whole new line of competition now.
I have three of these blushes, but have the rest on the way... I really love them seems like the lighter the color the more "clumpy" the powder is in the jar but I dont' have a problem with it going on nicely. My favorite color is Joy and it's VERY light but for my porcelain skin tone it is the perfect "glow" for me and I don't have to worry about overdoing it I love these can't wait to get the rest!
I absolutely love this product. By the color swatches I wasn't sure which one to choose but I bought the color peachy. The color is a perfect match for my skin tone. Being in a sorority pictures are constantly being taken and this keeps me photo ready and appears natural in pictures. So much product that it has already lasted me 4 months and You can barely tell I've used it. Will be repurchasing!
I applied the blush with a studio powder brush and built it to my liking. The colors I ordered plum and peachy. I tried plum and i don't think I'll ever try another color!! Love it on my dark skin tone. I love it! It did fade later in the day, however, but i don't wear primer or foundation.
I purchased Bliss, Coral and Rose. On my medium/olive skin tone the Bliss was very natural and understated. Perfect for a really "barely there" makeup day. The Rose is quite bright - nice pigment. I love it and use it often. A little goes a long way. The Coral is a stronger more intense version of the Bliss. I love it as well for a really healthy beachy sun-kissed look. This product works as well as the Bare Escentuals Mineral blushes - at a fraction of the cost. Same type of packaging - which is awesome for someone like me who travels a lot and NEVER checks bags. Love this stuff!!
Bliss and Coral look alike in color, except Coral is a little bit brighter (light salmon). I am asian with medium skin and dark brown hair. I prefer Bliss over Coral. These colors are perfect for a natural hint of pink color. It's not overpowering, just right. Good staying power.
I love the Plum color (the only one I have) ! it's very buildable, color looks nice! and lasts all day long!! the only thing that I dont like is that the brush holds too much product so it get's messy when you're applying! but not a big deal after you see the results!! :P
I bought the Blush in Plum. It goes on well with a blush brush and lasts through the humidity at work. The color pay-off is really great also. There is a lot in the container so it will last a while. Do not like how the blush powder gets everywhere but on my makeup brush.
I ordered this blush in 'Peachy' and I like it. Although it is a very natural blush - much more natural than I am used to applying - it is very pretty. It's actually a great product for me because I tend to be heavy-handed with blush and this one is very fine and blends so well that it is hard to overdo. The packaging is good, the color is true to what you see on the website, and there is not too much shimmer in it like many other loose powder blushes. Overall, a great product and an amazing value! I would buy more. One word of advice: don't be afraid to try a shade that is more vibrant than you normally wear, because this is a perfect blush to try more outrageous colors. I will be doing that on my next order.
I bought the colors Coral and Plum. Both are beautiful in color and when paired with a good brush, they glide on amazing on the cheeks! Just make sure to use a tiny bit because a little goes a long way!
I bought Joy, I love this color! Which I have to say I don't believe I've ever loved a blush color on me before. I have a fair to medium complexion. It's perfect, It's not too heavy so you can build little by little. It's such a beautiful soft shade, I apply it over a bronzer to just pink up my cheeks a little. The only complaint that I have is that I wish it came in a larger size, my large kabuki brush barely fits in it. But regardless I'll keep buying it. The color on the site seems to show it being darker than it actually is. For the price you can't beat it.
I am really liking this blush! I own it in Bliss and Peachy. My skin tone is light olive and I have dark hair and eyes. Bliss is a great "anytime" color and can give a casual or dressy look depending how applied. Peachy is pretty too but I have to apply it very lightly on my skin so that it isn't too orangey. I love that these are really pigmented and that they are long lasting. They do require a bit of blending since they are pretty pigmented (or a light touch) but that makes them more versatile. I think Bliss would be great for pretty much any skin tone!
the product has great pigmentation. i use it almost daily for school and work. i swivel the cap with the elf studio blush brush and tap off excess so i prevent it from having too much on my brush and face. since it's very pigmented, you don't need a lot. i have fair skin so too much on my cheeks would make it look unnatural lol. however, it doesn't last too long, but that's my experience with lots of other blushes; i find that it lasts longer when i apply the elf line primer onto the apples of my cheeks. by the way, i love the blush shade in coral :)
I L O V E love Plum! I waited a long time before deciding to get this color, and that's because I thought it would lean too cool for my golden brown skin. It looks pretty close to what the website suggests, a mauvy plum. I don't know any skintone that couldn't wear it, but it is a definite MUST for WOC. It is wonderfully pigmented, and I recommend a delicate application, or you will step outside wearing a bit too much. It looks especially pretty over peach blush, bringing the eyes out more. This may be the best color out of the whole line up.
I tried this on a whim since I love mineral make up even though it is a bit pricier than rest of ELF line. I got this in Coral which is actually a milky peach in between sheer and opaque coverage, but can be layered. It is very finely milled and very nice quality. I used my kabuki brush to apples of cheeks and looks so natural while giving me a fresh look. It does get a bit messy in pot, so wouldn't necessarily travel with this. I do wish staying power was a bit longer (4 hours), but compared to other high-end blushes, this was a bargain.
The other reviews stating the colors shown are inacurrate are correct, these colors, especially the coral, are much lighter than the photos indicate. I am a redhead w/freckles and pink undertones. I wear both pinks and peaches, depending. The Bliss is a great color, the coral is a bit too dark peach for my very fair face. I am still experimenting with getting just the right amount of product, thus far I've gotten either too little or too much. This product is NOT easily blendable! For the price, there are many other blushes [...]
I bought this in Coral and Rose. I am in love with both and will be re-purchasing both until ELF decides to discontinue this blush. [Please don't, ELF!] Coral gives you an natural flush, while Rose gives you the PERFECT Snow White-esque flush. I've been looking for a perfect rose colored blush for awhile, and this is IT! It goes on flawlessly, and while it has shimmer, it is unseeable on the skin. [And this is coming from someone who HATES shimmer/glitter.] You will not be disappointed with this blush. Another great one, ELF!
I got the mineral blush in Coral. I had never had blush before, or mineral make-up, but was exited about the idea. I found the colour Coral to be much too light for my olive skin, even with my winter shade. It was smooth and gave my skin a nice glow however. I would love to have this product in a shade or two darker, but I still use it as an everyday blush to give the most subtle hint of colour and to avoid using any heavier makeups for everyday use. Also, the container it came in was nice, but the powder was hard to get out.
I'm not disappointed. Bought it in bliss and it's a very sheer light pink. I'm in between fair & light and the colour could be seen after 3 swipes across my cheeks. I really like it because the colour is quite natural. I had mine on approx 10.30am in the morning and by 10.30am I could still see signs of it. Of course the make up faded slightly. Which brand doesn't? But the fact that it's so lightweight yet i managed to last that long won me over. Oh and coverage is just alright. Highly recommend bliss for fair skinned people!
I love this blush. I bought the lilac mauve.. I think that's the color. I was worried that it would be too light purple, but it's a beautiful color and looks perfect. I am very light skinned with dark auburn hair and it looks absolutely beautiful. It goes on so easy, you can layer it for darker coverage, and it lasts my entire 9 hour work day with absolutely NO fading! I have paid for Pur Minerals blush and let me tell you, I could buy several ELF mineral blushes for the cost of one Pur Minerals. I am hooked on this blush!
I ordered the mineral blush in Bliss, and I was really happy with how the color blended and appeared natural on my skin tone! A lot of blushes I've tried are just too rich in pigmentation, rather than just giving a soft, veiled glow - this blush is perfect for that! Even though this comes in a small container, the product is really packed in - no skimping on the amount they put in! Also, you don't need a lot to give you the perfect shade. I think the price is a little high for blush, but it's definitely a quality product!
After I bought this in Coral I kind of forgot about it because I have so many other blushes. I grabbed this by mistake one day and it went on so nicely I looked at it and realized it was ELF. I have been using it everyday since then. It looks so natural and truly a little goes a very long way, this thing will last forever. Its very pigmented and very buildable. I just love this color so much and I'm sooooo glad I got it. CORAL!! also: NO GLITTER/SHIMMER. by far my best elf buy and i love other elf products.
I absolutely love this product! I received it when I received my first order from ELF and this is one of my favorite products among those that I ordered. I have VERY pale skin, so I ordered this blush in the shade 'Joy' and I found that it doesn't look unnatural on me like some blushes do. It manages to survive my 7-hour school day without fading or becoming too oily. I use it mainly after applying my foundation just to get some color back to my skin, and it works amazingly. I would definitely buy again!
I have Bliss and Coral and they are both really beautiful with my skin tone, which is light with yellow undertones. I like that these blushes are very subtle, which means I can build more color if I like by adding more layers. I have a tendency to go a little heavy on blush, but the subtlety of these colors makes it hard to make a mistake. I can't believe the quality of the e.l.f. mineral makeup for the price...it makes it very hard to justify paying triple or even quadruple the price for the others.
The first time I bought it in Rose and I loved it except the color was too dark for me and looked unnatural. So I applied very little and blended it well so that it wouldnt stand out as much. Then once I ran out I decided to try a lighter color. I bought Bliss and this one is so light that it is barely a shade darker than my foundation. Its more of a peach than anything. In the picture it looked pink. So I was very disappointed with the pigmentations, although it applies excellently.
