Rated 4 out of 5 by from love it yet disappointed I just got nude and big bang blue in the mail today. Nude is great but it was a shade or 2 darker then what it showed online.. still pretty though. Big bang blue. I absolutely love it!! It works beautifully as a top coat

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it!! This nail polish came in "Champagne" in my Mystery Bag and I just adore it. The formula was just the right thickness for me - it didn't spread around like watery ones do, but wasn't so thick that I couldn't brush it out to the rest of my nail. I did two coats and that was plenty for all of my toes, except the larger ones - I'll go with three for them next time. It has held up pretty well. I destroy nail polish really easily and after almost a week I have only a couple of slight chips, right on the edges. Creativity with a clear coat would probably fix that. The color IS darker than it seems on the website (even in the bottle), but I don't think that will bother me - they're close enough that I'll just pretend they match. Champagne comes out as a lovely, almost Coral, color. Super recommend for soft pinks!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Lovely color, but not what it says it is. I got the Garnet as I love deep red tones. This is NOT red, it's a deep violet, beautiful, but not what I ordered.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product, but smells pretty bad. I got a bunch of these a while ago, because I just couldn't resist with the great price. So far it's been a pretty good experience. The application is good, but they do start to chip after a few days. The worst thing about this product is the smell. It's super strong smelling and chemical-y, which made me kind of nauseous.Be warned, lilac looks pretty grey on me, and makes me look dull, imo but it might work for someone else. Sea escape is way more of a black colour than I expected. It has some blue glitters which look nice, but it's hard to see when it's not in a certain light, so for me it turned out as a grey-ish black. I would say that they aren't really what they look like on the site, at least the glittery ones.If you're looking for a cheap nail polish, you should try some of these out. If you have a sensitive sense of smell, you might want to pass, though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Color I ordered the Meadow Mist color which is a grey shade, and I love it. I did two coats, but honestly one would have been enough I just had a few nails that looked a little more shear than others, even though the color is pretty solid! I saw a few areas that have a chipped a tiny bit, but really what nail polish doesn't chip. I would definitely buy more colors next time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome! Overall, it's a great product. The brush can be a little difficult to hold when painting with your non-dominant hand, but it just takes time to get used to it. I love the colors and selections. I bought three colors: Chocolate, Mint Cream, and Meadow Mist. Mint Cream is a little darker than I thought it would be, but it's still a beautiful color. I would definitely recommend this product. It's only $2!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great depth I bought the Dark Glitter Purple nail polish and was really pleased. It has a wonderful depth of color. It looks more deep cobalt blue or sapphire blue, but I like that this has more of a tiny shimmer/glitter rather than a large chunky glitter that is difficult to remove.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The only non-chip polish I've always loved nail polish, but I've always been disappointed when it chipped a few days later (if not the very next day). Then a friend gave me a mini trio set for Easter - IT DOESN'T CHIP! I LOVE THAT! Awesomeness!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great colors, potent smell I'm an avid lover of ELF products. I've stuck to face-only products for awhile. I decided to give the polish a go.Sadly, I'm not as crazy about this polish. I've bought this in the red (smokey hot?), coral dream, and prissy chrissy. As I'm trying out Coral Dream, I'm feeling nauseous and have a slight headache. These go hand in hand when I may be slightly allergic to a product, typically the smell. The odor is very potent compared to both brand name and off brands I've tried out. It's very rare that I'm ever allergic or react harshly to any product.I may need to wear a mask if I want to get my money's worth and finish out the bottle. I have terrible sinus allergies, though usually to pollen, mold, dust, and strong odors such as overly spicy, overly sweet, or certain cleaners. This almost has a scent similar to one cleaner I've used that made me sick.I've only tried 1 coat so far, but I do, in total, a 4 coat process. I use my own base & top coat, but I feel that with 2 coats, the color has a solid cover. The colors I've chosen aren't pearlescent or glittery. To get the most out of any nail polish, you do need a good base coat & top coat. Also, you always need to use 2 coats of color. Otherwise you'll see streaks, and expect more than your color coats should give.I'm using Sally Hansen's Dry & Go drops with this. I had to wait for it to be dry to the touch before I use the drops, or else nail polish will bubble due to the oils in the Dry & Go. This ELF polish takes a bit longer than most to dry, but even after 1 coat this has a smooth feel in the finish. While most complain about it not having the manicure shaped brush, I'm glad it doesn't. Sometimes I want to do a vintage half-moon manicure the historic way (no stickers), and that requires a square tip instead of a rounded tip. If anything, giving people a choice between square or rounded would help.Minus the sickening scent, I feel that overall the product would be great for others.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good color and lasts a while. No need for extra sh I bought the Prissy Chrissy color and it's great. It's a very gentle color if that's what you're looking for. I have finally found a color that works with me! On one nail a lot of little bubbles did form, but it was just for one nail. All of the other ones, with careful application, should work just fine. However, the paint had a hard time "spreading" in order to avoid that striped clump you get sometimes. I applied TWO coats for best result. See image attached!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I just bought this and was very satisfied.  It's very easy to apply. It's also very even and with a good brush.  It looks good with just one coat or more, depending on what look you're trying to go for.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good colors, images NOT accurate! :( I've been an ELF customer for years and I know that the nail colors are a hit or miss; I've learned that you have to buy these nail polishes not holding your hopes up because you might be sorely disappointed when you get them. For most of the part the problem is that they are a lot darker than what they are presented on the website. Here are the ones I bought last and I’m disappointed in, and my impressions:Glamour Girl – it’s an ugly hue of dark brown with an imperceptible golden glitter to it. If it had more golden it would be acceptable, maybe. Enchanted – there is no glitter or spark to it; it’s just white specks so it’s extremely boring.Mint Cream – it’s actually teal. It might be ok if you don’t mind mixing it with white to make it look like mint.Nude – it’s darker than what the picture shows and it has changed too. I used to be an avid Nude color customer a few years ago, it used to be a lot like Prissy Chrissy but that’s no more. That being said, I love the variety of colors Elf offers. Just be aware of the accuracy of the pictures, and the fact that you'll always need a very strong top coat because they're not very shiny and chip easily. :)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gorgeous shades - I'm an addict Elf nail polishes have turned me into a polish junkie. I have 37 colors, which is a bit nuts, but they are so affordable that I don't mind. Most of them wear pretty well. I tend to do my nails about twice a week and they hold up fine. Some of the colors are a bit different from what you see, but I have liked all of them, except for Nude, so far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great pigmentation just received pot of gold, liquid metal, coral and dark navy and they look great. the metallic are great and just what i wanted, the coral has a really pretty iridescent gold to it, the only this about the dark navy is that its way darker than pictured (i know, DARK navy, but it seemed lighter online. otherwise they are a great affordable way to pick up all the trendy colors i was looking for! the brush is a little small, i would love to see e.l.f. do a wider brush like so many other brands are doing now, makes application SOOOOO much easier.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than expected. Better than expected.  First coat covered without being streaky.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Goes on poorly I got this in a few colours and was really excited to use this, but they go on very uneven! I tried a few ways of applying (to clear nails, then buffed, with and without a base coat) and every time it was very streaky and patchy. I likely won't get to wear them much as they make my nails look inexpensive with their uneven coverage. I do like that they changed their formula to be less chemical filled though, maybe they still have a few kinks to work out to make the formula its best? The colours of the pink polishes is also different from what they seem online.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gets the job done I have these nail polishes in lilac and pearl(dont think pearl is still available). And they are average. The colors are very different then shown. The lilac color looks as if it is a white creamy lilac when it is actually a grey-ish purple. I was disappointed in that but the color was still ok, I was just expecting something different. The formula is good and there is a nice wide range of colors. Try some of these out to see how you like them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty Typical I got a bottle of the color Glamour Girl and the first thing I noticed was the color.....very different from what was pictured on the website. I was expecting a lighter, warmer color. Instead it is more of a tinted coffee color. I would recommend getting this product in a store and not online.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Painted my nails Saturday and it's now Monday and over half of all my nails are chipped/flaked off to where it's not just on the tips but the whole nail bed. The smell is okay, there is a slight perfume smell to it, maybe to cover the usual strong nail polish smell. The color I purchased (Dragon Fruit) is pretty. Overall probably won't purchase again. Definitely get what you pay for in this case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleasantly surprised! I was heading to a party the next day and didn't have time to get a manicure. I remembered I got the lavender nail polish in a beauty bundle and it matched my dress perfectly. Four days later, I am pleasantly surprised that it has barely chipped at all and it only took two coats to get the same color intensity as what's in the bottle. Amazing buy for $2!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from MEH The colors are a bit off I have this in the color Garnet and its REALLY purple(ish) after one day of wear it chips and peels off your nails. I will buy more just need to find a good top coat I guess.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Electric Pink is red not pink I bought this polish in Electric Pink and it is not pink. It is bright red like the crayon color red. If you like red then you might like it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from RAWRrrrrr... I got High Tide, Purple Dream,Mango Madness and Flirty. I hate the High Tide color. Its more of a blackish brownish than a very dark blue. The other colors look great. The Mango Madness color is ok. Something about it just doesn't look right. It Peels off in strips too. But when i comes time to remove NO brand of nail polish remover works.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I bought "Bubblegum Pink" and some gray shade. The pink color is beautiful, but the polish chips off by the end of the day, even with topcoat. I really wanted to love this but it chips off more than any nail polish I have ever tried. Overall, I LOVE elf products but this one is a fail.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not true to color, but good quality for the price I recently bought these in Teal Blue, Skinny Jeans, and Mambo Mauve. Like a lot of other reviewers have mentioned, the polishes are definitely 1-2 shades darker than the swatches on the website. Skinny Jeans and Teal Blue (pictured) are lovely colors. I'm not a huge fan of Mambo Mauve mostly because it's a raisiny color and it goes on streakier than the others. In general, the polish goes on thick and easy. With Teal Blue and Skinny Jeans you could probably get away with only one coat. I've found they work really well with a good base coat and Gelous polish. Despite the differences in color, I definitely think these are great and worth a try!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great polish for the price... I have this in several colors, dries fast and I only need one coat to get opaque color. But why did they discontinue the color Innocent?? Best beige-y nude color I've ever used, the Nude color they currently sell is actually more of a peach and I don't care for it with my skin tone. Please bring back Innocent so I can stock up!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Extra prep needed for oily nail beds! The colors are great, the consistency is great, the drying time is okay. But if you have oily nail beds like me, you'll need to take a few extra steps before you apply e.l.f.'s nail polish or it will just start chipping and peeling pretty much as soon as it's dried.I went to a cosmetics store and got a good dehydrator and a really good base coat which allows e.l.f.'s polishes to adhere my nails and last 4-5 days before they started to chip or peel. If you don't have oily nail beds then I'm sure you wouldn't have any of these problems with e.l.f.'s polish!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MY FAVORITE NAIL POLISHES! I bought a holiday quad during December and these are great nail polishes. They stay on, are easy to take off, and easy to put on and dry within 10 minutes give or take a few! I love E.L.F! They're my favorite makeup and other beauty stuff brand! They do chip a little but you can fix them easily!
