Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tool!! This is a great tool to use to apply highlight to your inner eye. I take elf's "angelic" mineral eyeshadow and dip the sponge applicator (lightly, don't get too much) and just TAP in and around the corner of your eye and just along that inner corner of your bottom lash line. Your eyes will just pop! So gorgeous! I also use this tool to smudge my lower lash eyeliner. The trick is to TAP and not drag the sponge along your lash line. If it hurts your not using it correctly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great value This brush is a great value but it is a little hard. I use it to smudge my liner to a more natural look but it's so hard it hurts my eyelids sometimes! A little water to dampen it helps a lot. All in all, a great value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Eyebrow pencil blending This is not a great eye brush, but it ROCKS for blending in the eyebrow pencil to the eyebrows for a natural color look. Use it with the eyebrow wax kit or with the pencils and you will have great eyebrows that look natural-and for those of use with blonde brows, a natural look is hard to come by.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome for eyeliner! I use this to blend the eyeliner on my lower lid into a softer look and it works PERFECT. I use this everyday <3

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bad Idea I do not say it's elf's fault for making a bad product. The whole idea is flawed. If you do not have specific use for a sponge applicator i would not buy it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from dont love I bought this for an eye shadow sponge, i hate it! its small, hard, and nothing like i thought it would be.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't like it The tip is less of a 'sponge' and more tough or hard, which tugs at my eyelids and I don't like it at all. I've used it a couple times, but I just am not a fan.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from LOVED it at first.....but... It was really sad because I really loved this in the beginning. However, I did not know how to clean it because water makes it worse and the colors from eyeliner are on there! After a while, the brush seemed to get rougher with me and it dragged my skin out harshly. It was fine in the beginning, I'm not sure what happened.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It Works! I really like this!! It does its job and you can't ask for more. However, I was expecting a "squishier" sponge and for it to be more to a point. It is a little bit hard to use because it's kind of hard, but overall, I would buy it again. Useful!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from harder than I imagined I never use a smudge brush b4 but this product felt rougher than I expected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bang for Buck I was skeptical of the line of brushes offered for a buck on this site at first but figured for the price its certainly worth the try! I've purchased several and love them all! This does the job intended. It replaced my old, more pricey smudge brush and I can't tell a difference.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Brush! I was actually grocery shopping when I came across a little e.l.f. section (which was like EMPTY by the way)and I saw just this 1 brush there and I of course picked it up and purchased it. Well I love this brush but not to smudge&blend I love to use it to apply eyeshadow on on my lash line and to apply eyeliner as well. It's a great brush overall though just use it however you prefer :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Used to use q-tips and fingers! I don't like a harsh line for my liner. This little tool (or the Studio line Small Angled Brush) is perfect for blending and softening. Buy multiples! (Doesn't last as long as a brush) BONUS TIP: My fav use for this little tool is as a "magic eraser". It is so annoying when mascara accidently ends up on your bottom or upper lid! Most remedies involve smudging, and having to re-do part of your make up. Using a clean smudge sponge on DRY mascara smears fixes little goofs like magic! No eye make-up re-dos needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great brush! I really like this brush, I put on my gel liner then I smudge it out with it, it works so well, I've had so many complements due to this brush I give all the credit to it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it. Perfect. The sponge held so much product with the slightest touch. Perfect condition when I got it. Easy to clean.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than I expected! This brush was better than I expected, it does exactly what it is supposed to, and that is to smudge and blend. My only con would be that I don't see it lasting very long.. but for [$], who cares?!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The end came off within a week. I really like this at first, but after a week the end came off! It is great for travel though, if you just need something disposable for on the go.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from COOOOOL Great for smoking eyes up. I also tend to keep this brush clean, and have never had an issue with the sponge tip falling off. When it is clean, I add a dab of moisturizer and it is a perfect eraser for mistakes on the eyes. I also keep one in my purse for touch ups during the day, like when it was raining on me and my eyeliner ran down a bit. My little sponge tip is also on the hard side, but I like that- gives me better control to smudge or to fix mistakes.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Just alright--I prefer the smudge brush. The sponge on the end of this is a little too hard. It kind of hurts your eyelid when trying to smudge your eyeliner. I prefer the smudge brush that is in e.l.f.'s studio line. Same effect, more comfortable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bang For Your Buck. =) This smudge eye sponge really wasn't one of the softer sponges I've tried. Maybe after a wash it will soften up. But right now its almost to the point of being solid, and it's a little scratchy because of that. This really is a great deal for the price and great for bargain hunters. =)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Does what it's supposed to do This brush it great for smudging out your liner. It does exactly what it's supposed to do. The only downside is that every time I wash this brush the sponge tip falls off.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Falls apark This is okay to use under the lower lash line to smudge your eyeliner but I have 2 of them and both of them the sponge has come out and won't stay in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works well In these reviews I've read I've noticed a trend..people saying this brush is of poor quality because the sponge falls out and has to be put back. I've bought more exspensive blenders and have had that problem but not with elf! Especially for the price, I'm really quite satisfied with the product and if need be, I will repurchase. You can always put a dab of superglue in and put it right back in. This brush is great for sumdging wet or pencil line as to avoid harsh lines and I've always used it (clean) to wipe away mistakes or smudges throughout the day. reat product once again elf!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from functional This brush works fine and hasn't broken (yet...). My only complaint is that I could tell the metal part was glued onto the wood lopsided. However at such a great price a little lopsidedness is certainly something I can ignore.
