Rated 1 out of 5 by from You Get What You Pay For I buy these because I'm dark skin and it's the closest shade that elf has to my skin color at a low price. It's not bad when I put it on, but it is kind of on the red tint side so I have to use other foundation to blend them both to make my skin tone. Also, as far as packaging is concerned, I ordered three of these. Only one was usable. The other two were so badly damaged that there was no way to use them without having it fall out of the small compact--I even tried using a brush. The product came with powder everywhere :/ It's currently all over my hands. I doubt I'll get sent two new ones to replace the two damaged ones as they were only a dollar. You get what you pay for but I love their other products--just not their face products. If anyone from E.L.F. is viewing this, can you please make shades for all dark skin tones? I see your foundation appeals more to the lighter races of people. Diversity=more customers=cash for you. Think about it--no, try it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for regular or oily skin. I bought this in rosy beige because ivory is to yellow for me. It's a little cakey but it has really good coverage. Terrible shipping though!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've been using this for about a year and I've noticed a huge difference with the quality of my skin. I use it every day with concealer in place of a foundation and it does the job. This is my holy grail product! Best power I have ever used.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from i love it! I use this to set my foundation (flawless finish foundation also by e.l.f) and I love it! Most of the time I don't even need concealer, people tell me all the time that my skin looks flawless, both items are wonderful separately but paired together, they are remarkable. I like it better to set my foundation than the high definition powder. trust me, I know makeup and I would pay more then a dollar for this. very affordable and worth more then every penny, you cant go wrong.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a must! I still can't believe I pay only $1 for an awesome powder like this one. I love it and I need it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Had to lighter color than other products I use spice for all over stick and had to get honey color for this one and it works wonderfully!! Leaves my skin flawless and super beautiful!! I never tried the other pressed powders they sell but I'm definitely sold on this one!! Got 50% off everything and im super happy! I bought different stuff to spread on my face tho, since I read that in someone else's review; the one that comes with it doesn't work well. But I still give it 5 stars because the powder is so awesome!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only Powder I Use! I get this podwer in light beige and I am in love with it. Very light and smooth and doesn't feel cakey or gross at all throughout the day. I've dealt with acne since I was 10 and the powder really does help with it. I can wear it over foundation/BB cream or by itself and my skin looks flawless.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from As a pressed powder, this isn't the best. It goes on pretty powdery and makes my face look fuzzy. Instead, this works great as a concealer! I apply it with the Essential Concealer Brush to blemishes and they're hidden perfectly! I hit pan after only about a month but for $1, I really don't mind.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from lighter shades now? So I bought this a long time ago and it was too dark for me but love the powder itself. I found this picture on pinterest so will be giving it another go. Hope it helps everyone with shade matching.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing and Actually Works! I bought this a few months ago to use as a setting powder for my blemishes and it is absolutely amazing. I didn't want to contaminate my other powder by using it to set the concealer over my pimples and other blemishes. I saw a $1 powder and thought that it would serve my purpose, so I bought it. I didn't even realize that it was used to help with acne until I got it and read the ingredients. The pigmentation on this powder is unbelievable and it reduced my acne significantly after one use. The only problem for most people is that it looks extremely yellow, but that is actually a benefit for me. Yellow is used to help cancel out redness, and since I am using it to cover up blemishes, it is perfect. It doesn't look cake-y or powder-y on the skin. It is a soft powder, like all of e.l.f.'s powder products, so one should be careful to not pick up too much product when you put your brush in it. This powder is worth more than $1 and is an amazing deal.Bottom Line: Yes, you should buy this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love love love! I'm filipino, and it's hard to find powders and foundations that match. I use the honey over my foundation. It's sheer and I can reapply later in the day if needed. I would definitely pay more for a larger quantity of this product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The only powder I'll use I have very sensitive skin and most powder makes me break out. I had given up on it for a long time, but when i saw that e.l.f. had a clarifying powder, I had to try it. I'm so glad I did because I LOVE IT!! It's very light so you don't feel like you're wearing a ton of makeup. It covers uneven skin and acne. It even helps with break outs!! I use the shade Ivory and it matches me pretty well. I wish there were more shades, though. Some of my friends couldn't find one that fit them perfectly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great product but no shade for me I so wanted to love this product. I love pressed powders and prefer them to liquid foundations. I also struggle with acne, so a pressed powder that was good for breakouts and also inexpensive would have been ideal. However, NONE of the shades worked with my skin tone! I'm really fair, so I naturally ordered the ivory, but it was too yellow. So I decided to try Rosy Beige, and it was less yellow but too dark and looked orange. The other shades look even less like my skin tone. I am SO disappointed! I was hoping to find the right shade, stock up like crazy, and use this every day because in spite of the color issues, the pigmentation, coverage, and texture were all excellent.PLEASE consider doing a re-evaluation of your foundation shades! Having a wider range of colors to choose from to match all skin types is really important. Being fair-skinned, it can be very difficult to find something light enough. It would also be extremely helpful if there was a uniformity between products, like if the ivory in once product matches your skin tone, ivory in another product will as well. I purchased the acne fighting foundation in ivory, and it's perfect. It would be wonderful if it could be that easy to find a pressed powder to match. That would be ideal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You can't beat this For $1 each, you'd expect this to be junk, but it's a great product! What surprised me was the coverage -- it's not like foundation of course, but it has enough coverage that I can quick powder my face like this and not feel "naked" running out. And the fact that it's clarifying is the icing on the cake. I buy several at a time -- they do run out pretty quickly, but even if you went through one a week, it's still a better deal than other pressed powders!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE LOVE LOVE I bought this on a whim while I was on my lunch hour, I typically carry a press powder with me because I tend to experience shine during the day. I was blown away at the quality and how well it lasted! If I am wanting a matte finish I typically use the applicator, however if I am just wanting to set my makeup I will use a brush and apply. Its small and convenient to carry in a purse and cheap enough to have one in several locations (car, house etc.)! So happy I have found E.L.F, since I love to buy makeup.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really Smooth I bought this on a whim because my current face powder was making me breakout. I had low expectations for this. I expected it to be chalky and all. It's surprisingly very smooth and soft. I bought it in the color ivory, and it matched me very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Coverage! This pressed power is really good! It has great coverage and lasts all day without making you oliy at all! Its great for dry skin because it does not dry out our skin!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for on the go and every day! I usually buy a more expensive powder but when I came across ELF (from a youtube channel) I decided to give their brand a go, as they are cheap and if it doesn't work it's no big deal. Well, I wouldn't call them cheap, they are inexpensive because this powder is my go to powder. I have one in my purse, in my car, this is my main powder to reapply throughout the day to get rid of the shine, on the go, or just a quick swipe to help reduce redness. I'm Irish/Scottish/Welsh and have the red undertones to prove it and a lot of other powders and foundations do not look good on me, this I have no problem with at all. I have been using it for well over a year and love the whole brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Saving Grace! I bought this product in early September, but I bought it too dark. I use the too dark one as a contour now and it works wonderfully for that! I then bought it in Ivory, and it is the most perfect match, it looks wonderful and keeps my acne from coming. It isn't oily, which is awesome for my skin tone. I just love this product. I just wish it had more product, even if you have to pay more. I mean I FLY through these. It takes me around 3 weeks to get through one. This will stay on all day and I touch my face a lot. So next order, I am ordering 25. Don't judge!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compact, can fit easily in your bag On a swatch, this looked orange. However when I applied it over my foundation it matched perfectly. I was really happy. I dont like that the little applicator doesnt fit in the compact with it though, its a tight squeeze and the case is difficult to open. But I can't complain too much for the price.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too Dark and Arrived broken!:( First of all it arrived broken and it was too dark. Beware of purchasing online, Better off buying it in a store where you can see the color in store lighting. Im african american with a bronze complexion and toffee ended up being too dark but it looked perfect online. ( shrugs)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best powder! I have light to tan skin and I buy Apricot Beige in bulk! I buy 3-4 compacts at a time because I use this on a daily basis and it goes fast. Great for mattifying and does its job.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this powder! This powder is great for everyday use. The only flaw is the color selection. Beware of the shades it shows you, cause they are WAY darker than they look. I have a Medium skint one, so when I first bought this powder I bought the light beight- Big mistake! It was way too dark, so I buy ivory, which I think would be too dark for a fair complextion person. So just a fair warning. Other than that, I do love it. It helps cover my face after I put foundation & primer on. I also use a translucent afterwards to lighten it a bit & to help matte my oily T zone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overall amazing I started to use this powder over my elf concealer and I saw a decrease of acne in some areas it helps prevent my smaller zits from coming up .I love this product the only problem I had was the ivory shade was too yellow so I had the use the rosy beige to match my skin tone but besides that it's amazing

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing powder This powder has the perfect amount of coverage.. Not too light and not too thick. This powder does not come off flakey and blends into skin well. I have tried several powders from various brands cheap to expensive.. This is impressive and can't get better than $1. I bought this during the half off sale for 50 cents. The only thing that needs improvement is the lasting time; this product does not last all day but I don'tt mind. Everyone should try this product. I will definitely recommend.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product for a dollar I recently bought this and I really like it. It blends well with my skin tone (I got ivory) and has medium coverage. It has zit-fighting ingredients too! I use it as a concealer in problem areas, and if it's in a naturally red area, I sweep a little blush over it. The only con would be that it gets a little grainy in the pot, but it doesn't stay that way when it's on the puff. Very good smooth and silky texture. The included puff works well too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from WARNING CONTAINS PARABENS! I got this a long, long time ago. I still have it and use it. It doesn't make me breakout. (AMAZINGLY). But I found out it has, (drum roll please) PARABENS. Parabens are in most makeup brands you buy and can also cause breakouts. Parabens are terrible for skin! I recommend this to people who aren't prone to breakout.
