Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Eyeshadow! I bought this in the Butternut palette and it is seriously the best thing I own!!! It goes on so lovely. I use the blush coloured pink for my lids and the dark brown fro my creases and that's all I need! Quick and easy and great results :) I'm from Australia so for me it was $3 not $1 but was so worth the money for me!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wowee! I bought this palette in Day2Night and cannot believe how gorgeous it is! For $1 (are you kidding me??) you get the most beautiful colors- a satin cream, a bronze, charcoal gray (not as pigmented as the others) and a beyond belief burgundy. I bought a second one, just in case :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent smoky eye, great pigmentation I bought the Luxe Brightening Eye Color quad to use for a rose gold smoky eye with my green eyes. My first impression was that all of the shades have pretty impressive pigmentation, especially considering the whole quad is $1! The gold shade is excellent to pack on as a lid color (I sometimes deepen it with Baked Eyeshadow in Toasted or brighten the inner corner with Baked Highlighter in Moonlight Pearls). The mauve/taupe color and cranberry color blended together and great for transition/defining the crease, and the chocolate color deepens the crease beautifully. They all blended out really great, but also hold color if you pack them on. I always apply them on top of the Essential Eyelid Primer, and they are set for the day!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for hazel eyes! This is a definite buy!!! 80 cents and amazing quality eyeshadow. I have auburn hair, medium skin and this is a great natural palette for my hazel eyes. I recommend wearing with the plum liquid liner also by Elf

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Ok I really like these eye shadows. I bought this in brownstone and I got Day 2 Night and Luxe as gifts. The Luxe pallete came in the free Marsala collection and the Day 2 Night was a gift for recommending friends. All three have similar colors, but they're all slightly different. The pigmentation is great- except for the black shades. ALL of the black shades. I was so disappointed. The openings are also a liitle hard to get to

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Makeup Staple The Day 2 Night color palette has been my go-to eye look for over a year now. The brown shade is a great base, deep lavender great for the crease, black is perfect for both upper and lower lash lines, and the cream makes a nice brow bone and under-eye highlight. With the essential primer on first, the shadow normally stays all day (and I have naturally greasy eyelids. But the primer is necessary, otherwise the shadow creases.) The colors are super blendable and buildable. A slight shimmer, but very mature. You really can take it from day to night so easily. Complementary of my deep blue/green eyes.It does have a bit off fallout, and I've had the lid hinges break, but it's so cheap and easy to have your whole eye look in one place. The highlight color always goes first because I use it the most liberally, so I'm often forced to repurchase even when the others still have color, but it's worth it to have all four in one compact and not have to have a big palette or individual colors.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from SO much fallout! I love the colors. They really make my green eyes POP, but they are so darn powdery, the shades fall all over my the point that I can't even use the product. So disappointed. Will not purchase again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for an every day use At first I did not like this but after using it with a base is great for everyday use because you can build the color from soft to dramatic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These were how I fell in love with ELF products I bought these eyeshadows in EVERY shade and it was love at first sight. The quality is great the colors are true to the packaging..I've since "upgraded" to the studio line, but these are always perfect for putting in my purse for traveling.....A+++

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everyday brow color for redhead I use the red shade in the Luxe quad everyday for my brows since it's impossible to find a redhead shade in the drugstore. It's more natural looking thank you'd think! The shimmer doesn't show unless you pack it on & the brown can be used to make it less intense. I've used this for about 5 years (one will last me for about 2-3 months) and it's been thru proms, beaks ups, vacations, weddings, and workouts without becoming a hot mess. Topped off with a brow gel it's pretty sweat proof.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Deep pigments!! Day 2 Night shade is awesome<33 I just tried mine today since I got such a huge haul and I am in shock by how deep the color was! I used day 2 night the dark purple-ish color. I used smudgepots first and other shadows, FINALLY when nothing else was dark enough I pulled this baby out and tried it out thinking it wasn't going to do much and I was so pleasantly surprised... You just have to try it you have nothing to lose. I'm buying more in other shades at the moment.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from ehh I love the colors & It's small(portable).. My copy of this particular product was very stiff! I couldn't even get it on my finger tips or the eye shadow brush it came with. You need a good brush!! The colors would look so much nicer if I had brushes. I'm thinking about the beauty bundle..

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Definitely Worth It I found three discontinued colors at Dollar Tree- Ethereal, Teal Dream, and Rocker. Ethereal is similar to Butternut, and Rocker is comparable to Day 2 Night, but Teal Dream doesn't seem to have a match with the palettes currently available. Pigmentation is good, especially with a primer or base- any will do. I had good results when used with Urban Decay's Primer Potion and with Hard Candy's eye primer, which is considerably cheaper. The darker colors are much more pigmented than the lighter whites and nudes. They are powdery, but a quick tap of the brush will handle that. Overall, for 25¢ a shadow, these are worth the money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from awfull bought this quite a while ago and was not impressed one bit. color is almost non-existent and settles in to fine lines. bought a few colors as they were on sale. guess you get what you pay for.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor pigmentation I purchased this in silver lining and nouveau neutrals and the pigmentation for these is bad. They apply so sheer and if you try to layer it on more it gets powdery and weird. So sad the colors look so pretty

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely beautiful I have several of these and they are all great. They are soft, blendable and $1, even if you end up hating it; it was only $1 or $.50 in my case. They are buildable so you can go light for day and pack a little more for night. If you travel, they are so small you can take a few along in your makeup bag. I really can't say anything bad about them but try them for yourself.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I got this as a free gift in March for referring three friends, it's alright. The color doesn't show up very well, so you wind up putting on several layers. But then it looks too shimmery and harsh. Not a fan, and now I'm getting the exact same Butternut palette I got as a gift a few months ago again, which is really disappointing. I appreciate the gift, but I wish I could at least get different colors.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok eyeshadows This product is alright it is not that pigmented and it does not last long. I guess you get what you paid for only a dollar. I love elf so I suggest buying the singles for only 2 extra dollars

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Day 2 Night I agree with a previous reviewer about the Day 2 Night palette. I love the color in the top right corner. I wish they made a single of it, I would buy a bunch in a heartbeat. Good quality and lovely color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't Sell in Stores :( They don't sell these in Target anymore so I am forced to buy 20 at a time online. I love color in the upper right and have been wearing it as my daily for years. Sad I can't ever find it. Wish they sold it by itself. Last a long time. >>Day 2 Night

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Pay a little, get a little *Day 2 Night color* I've tried this product several times with and without eyelid primer and trying different brushes to apply. It looks very chalky/powdery on the skin. Also the darker colors look like one should be a dark grey and the other a deep brown but they both go on looking pale grey. The highlighting color is quite nice though.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not even worth $0.80 sale price Came in my beauty bundle tried it twice. Totally chalky, did not blend well at all. I liked the colors so I was disappointed. Made me leary about their eye shadow even though I've heard good things.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love, Love, Love I own two of these- Drama and Day 2 Night. I love drama because the colors are so buildable that I can create a lighter day time grey smoky eye and a dark, more intense nighttime look. Day 2 Night is great; I received it for free with my last purchase. Although there is no true matte shade, the shadow in the right corner makes up for it! It is the most beautiful copper color, not at all what it looks like on-line, perfect for autumn. I recommend these to anyone looking for an inexpensive eyeshadow is that is creamy and pigmented!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great eyeshadows Just got this in Silver Lining and Ocean Dreams last week, and I love it! Super small and compact, I can put it just about anywhere, this is a great on-the-go product. Silver Lining is pretty much exactly like how it looks in the picture, while Ocean Dreams has colors that are slightly darker/lighter than the picture. However, I'm really happy with both of these products, the shadows are nicely pigmented and look great together. You can't go wrong with these, especially for this price!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for beginners I was browsing the website one day, and I stumbled across this product. For only being a dollar when I bought it, I thought I was getting a steal. I was slightly disappointed when it arrived in the mail, because the product was very small. I expected that being that it was a buck. I find it difficult to fit a makeup brush in and pick up enough product. Also, the colors aren't pigmented enough for me. Overall, for it being $1 it was not a waste, but I think I would recommend it to younger makeup wearers, or beginners.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pigmented and Amazing I got the Butternut Quad as a free gift and I love it. It looks beautiful on my skin, it's highly pigmented, especially if used with the Lock and Seal. It blends easily, and I will probably incorporate it into my everyday routine until my endless looks kit comes in. Even still, I'll use it afterwards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great buy! So i got my first ever E.L.F haul today! Super excited, and it wasnt nearly as long as i was expecting for shipping to British Columbia, Canada- only 2 weeks :)(and i did not owe sales tax, fyi to all you eh'ers out there !)as soon as i got it i opened it to find a MASS amount more makeup than i expected! i used the promo code: SPLASH (now expired, and i barely glanced at the promo pic when i got the code) and got the colour splash collection for free, which included:*The E.L.F Essential Bronzing brush, which i dont use but i may gift, as i have larger face brushes i like, but the quality is quite nice.*The E.L.F Essential Eyeshadow brush, which i LOVE and use all the time now.*The 48 piece little black book set in the cool edition, which has a variety of suprisingly blendable and buildable eyeshadows in both mattes, and shimmering shades. Also suprising to me was that it is in a handy hard plastic case.*The Matte lip color (supposed to be in praline, but its free so what the heck...) in nearly nude, which i dont mind.*the E.L.F Primer and liner sealer in natural. (havnt used the liner sealer yet but im excited to tomorrow, as the primer was great )*the Mineral Blush in Sweet Retreat, LOVE THIS SOO MUCH! PERFECT blush! i use with a MAC all-over face brush for a super feathery application as i am VERY fair skinned.*And finally, E.L.F Nail polish in dragon fruit, which i am going to try next.I took advantage of the free shipping offer and made sure my order was over $40, so i also chose:*The Brightening eyeliner in Coffee, which comes with its own sharpener which is very handy as im ALWAYS looking for one lol. Application was quite easy, but its not the most pigmented of liners so if thats what your looking for then i would look to either the studio or the mineral lines, though i liked the effect on me... no more raccoon!*The Clarifying Pressed Powder in Ivory, which is not ivory. it has yellow tones in it that are a bit prevelant, so what i did was put my powder applicators aside and used my kabuki brush, but i still needed to be careful... other than that, it seemed to apply well and had a silky matte finish that held up as the day (or night for us night workers like me) wore on. -(not what your thinking... i work in a liquor store lol)*set or four powder puffs- though i may not be using them for my powder right now, you never know when your going to need a set of four super soft powder puffs for a $1, right?*Slant tweezer, have yet to use but the construction seems productive enough. my only suggestion would be making a more ergonomically correct tool that sits better in your hands... the tweezers kept sliding in my hand as i tried to get a grip on them.*Brushes!- I am going to list for you all the brushes i bought individually right now and let you know anything that might compromise guiality-*Defining Eye Brush-Great! Soft and seems to be of quality construction.*Eye Crease Brush-same as above, soft yet firm for precise and building application.*Small Angle Brush-good quality synthetic bristles great for cream liners and wet shadows and pigments.*Small Smudge Brush-i got this brush for my glitters as well as a small conceler brush, but it would be perfect for cream liners as well.*The Kabuki Face Brush- my go-to blush/bronzer/face brush other than my MAC one- great metal handle, soft bristles, perfect applications! <3*+ the two i got in the SPLASH collection.the eyeshadows... omg! so i looked in their 'Sale' section and found these Brightening Eye Color Eyeshadows for $.80 each! naturally i had to buy them, for eighty cents you can't go wrong! I am so proud of myself *pat on the back.* The palletes are composed of four colour-coded shadows in both matte and shimmering shades, they apply well (i use a primer) and colour has little to no shed. -i got them in every colour available and also shelled out another $.20 for the normally-priced Day-to-Night pallette, here they are listed:*Silver Lining-Shimmering pallette in grey, pink, purple, and cream*Ocean Dreams-Matte and shimmer in dark purple, deep blue, dark ocean green, and seafoam.*Brownstone-Matte pallette in earthy brown, charcoal, deep tan and caramel.*Ethereal-pure white matte with a sunny sand colour to match & a lovely tan with a cool toast color.*Nouveau Neautrals-Eggshell Shimmer with a dark mossy green & a french vanilla paired with a light brown.*The Day to Night is a pallette of satiny cream, dark burgundy, dark matte grey and shiny copper, i give it 5 thumbs wayy up!I also ordered another eyeshadow but it was the Loose Eyeshadow Stickin Black Licorice-Great formula, no problem with the applicator as many have had as i like to hold my fingers like in holding a paintbrush anyways, and i don't feel the need to only touch the tube- the wobblyness is easily overcome, people... good pigmentation even though it is charcoal and not black. For the lips i got:*The E.L.F Lipstain in crimson crush- though i originally ordered a deeper burgundy i fell in love with this stain immediately anyways! not moisturizing but if you use a balm before bed the night before you shouldn't have a problem... its like a semi-permanent marker for your lips! (i used a lip primer and pencil in conjunction with this product.)*Soothing Lip Balm in Strawberry Creme-Love. Love. Love. it feels a bit oily at first and you expect it to taste good from the smell, but it doesn't. it doesn't taste like anything at all, which, if you're like me, is good because then you don't lick it all off lol. super hydrating and suprisingly long-lasting.Also purchased were:*The Lengthening and Volumizing Mascara in Black/Brown-I honestly cannot believe i bought this for $1.60. It's bond-boggling. This mascara goes on like a dream and stays all day! perfect coverage, great colour, love <3.*Eyebrow Lifter and Filler in Light/Ivory- Best brow pencil i have ever used. colour is amazingly blendable, matchable, has immense staying power! and the highlighter... let me tell you. I had my doubts about this thing till i had it blended in to my browbone and the results were fantastic. also very easy to apply and an all-around good buy at $3. (i should mention that i do have eyebrows, they're just very light and i like my brows to frame my face, so i am not sure how this pencil is for people that like to draw theirs on.)*Liplock Pencil in clear-Excellent!!!! one of my smarter online buys for sure!!! absolutely NO feathering, keeps your lips moisturized and protected, only thing i would say is be careful in the application as the packaging is not the most luxe and the product is quite soft... i used my finger half way through.$3*and last... The Daily brush cleaner, in clear obviously. does what its supposed to, and completely vegan :) (though i am not...) -$3.So all in all, a win-win for me and EyesLipsFace... i gained a mass horde of makeup and they gained a new obsessed customer!... and might i add... before the $10 CAD Shipping added onto the total (the free part was only for the $8 american), my total was $40. That's right people, to get all of that in two weeks it only costed me FIFTY DOLLARS!!!...Winning...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from High quality, low price I bought all five of the quads.  They are just amazing, especially considering the price.  Most of the colors are highly pigmented, soft and blendable.  A few of the lighter colors are a bit less creamy and pigmented, and have more fallout.  Primer and/or wetting the brush a bit first cures the pigment/sticking problem with the lighter colors.  The darkest blue in the Ocean palette has quite a bit of fallout, also, but the color is wonderful. Colors last all day with primer.  E.l.f. has excellent eye shadows, better than most drug-store brands, and as good or better than many more expensive brands. The really dark blue
