Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love, Love, Love I own two of these- Drama and Day 2 Night. I love drama because the colors are so buildable that I can create a lighter day time grey smoky eye and a dark, more intense nighttime look. Day 2 Night is great; I received it for free with my last purchase. Although there is no true matte shade, the shadow in the right corner makes up for it! It is the most beautiful copper color, not at all what it looks like on-line, perfect for autumn. I recommend these to anyone looking for an inexpensive eyeshadow is that is creamy and pigmented!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great eyeshadows Just got this in Silver Lining and Ocean Dreams last week, and I love it! Super small and compact, I can put it just about anywhere, this is a great on-the-go product. Silver Lining is pretty much exactly like how it looks in the picture, while Ocean Dreams has colors that are slightly darker/lighter than the picture. However, I'm really happy with both of these products, the shadows are nicely pigmented and look great together. You can't go wrong with these, especially for this price!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good for beginners I was browsing the website one day, and I stumbled across this product. For only being a dollar when I bought it, I thought I was getting a steal. I was slightly disappointed when it arrived in the mail, because the product was very small. I expected that being that it was a buck. I find it difficult to fit a makeup brush in and pick up enough product. Also, the colors aren't pigmented enough for me. Overall, for it being $1 it was not a waste, but I think I would recommend it to younger makeup wearers, or beginners.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pigmented and Amazing I got the Butternut Quad as a free gift and I love it. It looks beautiful on my skin, it's highly pigmented, especially if used with the Lock and Seal. It blends easily, and I will probably incorporate it into my everyday routine until my endless looks kit comes in. Even still, I'll use it afterwards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great buy! So i got my first ever E.L.F haul today! Super excited, and it wasnt nearly as long as i was expecting for shipping to British Columbia, Canada- only 2 weeks :)(and i did not owe sales tax, fyi to all you eh'ers out there !)as soon as i got it i opened it to find a MASS amount more makeup than i expected! i used the promo code: SPLASH (now expired, and i barely glanced at the promo pic when i got the code) and got the colour splash collection for free, which included:*The E.L.F Essential Bronzing brush, which i dont use but i may gift, as i have larger face brushes i like, but the quality is quite nice.*The E.L.F Essential Eyeshadow brush, which i LOVE and use all the time now.*The 48 piece little black book set in the cool edition, which has a variety of suprisingly blendable and buildable eyeshadows in both mattes, and shimmering shades. Also suprising to me was that it is in a handy hard plastic case.*The Matte lip color (supposed to be in praline, but its free so what the heck...) in nearly nude, which i dont mind.*the E.L.F Primer and liner sealer in natural. (havnt used the liner sealer yet but im excited to tomorrow, as the primer was great )*the Mineral Blush in Sweet Retreat, LOVE THIS SOO MUCH! PERFECT blush! i use with a MAC all-over face brush for a super feathery application as i am VERY fair skinned.*And finally, E.L.F Nail polish in dragon fruit, which i am going to try next.I took advantage of the free shipping offer and made sure my order was over $40, so i also chose:*The Brightening eyeliner in Coffee, which comes with its own sharpener which is very handy as im ALWAYS looking for one lol. Application was quite easy, but its not the most pigmented of liners so if thats what your looking for then i would look to either the studio or the mineral lines, though i liked the effect on me... no more raccoon!*The Clarifying Pressed Powder in Ivory, which is not ivory. it has yellow tones in it that are a bit prevelant, so what i did was put my powder applicators aside and used my kabuki brush, but i still needed to be careful... other than that, it seemed to apply well and had a silky matte finish that held up as the day (or night for us night workers like me) wore on. -(not what your thinking... i work in a liquor store lol)*set or four powder puffs- though i may not be using them for my powder right now, you never know when your going to need a set of four super soft powder puffs for a $1, right?*Slant tweezer, have yet to use but the construction seems productive enough. my only suggestion would be making a more ergonomically correct tool that sits better in your hands... the tweezers kept sliding in my hand as i tried to get a grip on them.*Brushes!- I am going to list for you all the brushes i bought individually right now and let you know anything that might compromise guiality-*Defining Eye Brush-Great! Soft and seems to be of quality construction.*Eye Crease Brush-same as above, soft yet firm for precise and building application.*Small Angle Brush-good quality synthetic bristles great for cream liners and wet shadows and pigments.*Small Smudge Brush-i got this brush for my glitters as well as a small conceler brush, but it would be perfect for cream liners as well.*The Kabuki Face Brush- my go-to blush/bronzer/face brush other than my MAC one- great metal handle, soft bristles, perfect applications! <3*+ the two i got in the SPLASH collection.the eyeshadows... omg! so i looked in their 'Sale' section and found these Brightening Eye Color Eyeshadows for $.80 each! naturally i had to buy them, for eighty cents you can't go wrong! I am so proud of myself *pat on the back.* The palletes are composed of four colour-coded shadows in both matte and shimmering shades, they apply well (i use a primer) and colour has little to no shed. -i got them in every colour available and also shelled out another $.20 for the normally-priced Day-to-Night pallette, here they are listed:*Silver Lining-Shimmering pallette in grey, pink, purple, and cream*Ocean Dreams-Matte and shimmer in dark purple, deep blue, dark ocean green, and seafoam.*Brownstone-Matte pallette in earthy brown, charcoal, deep tan and caramel.*Ethereal-pure white matte with a sunny sand colour to match & a lovely tan with a cool toast color.*Nouveau Neautrals-Eggshell Shimmer with a dark mossy green & a french vanilla paired with a light brown.*The Day to Night is a pallette of satiny cream, dark burgundy, dark matte grey and shiny copper, i give it 5 thumbs wayy up!I also ordered another eyeshadow but it was the Loose Eyeshadow Stickin Black Licorice-Great formula, no problem with the applicator as many have had as i like to hold my fingers like in holding a paintbrush anyways, and i don't feel the need to only touch the tube- the wobblyness is easily overcome, people... good pigmentation even though it is charcoal and not black. For the lips i got:*The E.L.F Lipstain in crimson crush- though i originally ordered a deeper burgundy i fell in love with this stain immediately anyways! not moisturizing but if you use a balm before bed the night before you shouldn't have a problem... its like a semi-permanent marker for your lips! (i used a lip primer and pencil in conjunction with this product.)*Soothing Lip Balm in Strawberry Creme-Love. Love. Love. it feels a bit oily at first and you expect it to taste good from the smell, but it doesn't. it doesn't taste like anything at all, which, if you're like me, is good because then you don't lick it all off lol. super hydrating and suprisingly long-lasting.Also purchased were:*The Lengthening and Volumizing Mascara in Black/Brown-I honestly cannot believe i bought this for $1.60. It's bond-boggling. This mascara goes on like a dream and stays all day! perfect coverage, great colour, love <3.*Eyebrow Lifter and Filler in Light/Ivory- Best brow pencil i have ever used. colour is amazingly blendable, matchable, has immense staying power! and the highlighter... let me tell you. I had my doubts about this thing till i had it blended in to my browbone and the results were fantastic. also very easy to apply and an all-around good buy at $3. (i should mention that i do have eyebrows, they're just very light and i like my brows to frame my face, so i am not sure how this pencil is for people that like to draw theirs on.)*Liplock Pencil in clear-Excellent!!!! one of my smarter online buys for sure!!! absolutely NO feathering, keeps your lips moisturized and protected, only thing i would say is be careful in the application as the packaging is not the most luxe and the product is quite soft... i used my finger half way through.$3*and last... The Daily brush cleaner, in clear obviously. does what its supposed to, and completely vegan :) (though i am not...) -$3.So all in all, a win-win for me and EyesLipsFace... i gained a mass horde of makeup and they gained a new obsessed customer!... and might i add... before the $10 CAD Shipping added onto the total (the free part was only for the $8 american), my total was $40. That's right people, to get all of that in two weeks it only costed me FIFTY DOLLARS!!!...Winning...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from High quality, low price I bought all five of the quads.  They are just amazing, especially considering the price.  Most of the colors are highly pigmented, soft and blendable.  A few of the lighter colors are a bit less creamy and pigmented, and have more fallout.  Primer and/or wetting the brush a bit first cures the pigment/sticking problem with the lighter colors.  The darkest blue in the Ocean palette has quite a bit of fallout, also, but the color is wonderful. Colors last all day with primer.  E.l.f. has excellent eye shadows, better than most drug-store brands, and as good or better than many more expensive brands. The really dark blue

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it! This eye shadow, the Butternut, was my first purchase I made from E.L.F. I love the colors so much, I wish it were a little bit more pigmented but other than that I love it for an every day eye look!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it for brows I receive the free quad in Butternut every time I order from They were beginning to pile up so I decided to give it a try. I used the four colors on my eyes and wasn't crazy about the color or the look. I tried the dark brown on my brows and ta-da! It was the perfect shade for my brows! I prefer powder over pencil for my brows and the color matches exactly. I ended up using the lightest color just below my brow line for definition. It may not have suited my lids but definately my brows. Love it and it's $1/free!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glad I listened! I own these shadows in "Day 2 Night" and "Drama." Very simply, they're some of the best shadows I own, not just "for the cheap price," but for ANY price. Period.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from i really love this product. the eye shadow isn't too chalky. stay on all day. and for a dollar this product is amazing definitely add it to your shopping cart. my only problem is that its smaller than shows. but the eye shadows are full. they is so much product. but for me its hard to get my brush in it sometimes. also they should make an app.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Nice! I was looking for a palette that I could use to create a grey smoky eye. I decided to try this in the shade 'drama.' I wasn't expecting much for a dollar, but I was mistaken. I love this shadow. It does crease a little after wearing for a few hours, but the size makes it ideal for a clutch or purse. This shadow can create a light or dark style because it is so buildable. In my most recent order, I got the shade 'day 2 night' and I cannot wait to try that one out! I will repurchase and try out as many shades as I can!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from LOVE I got this as a bonus gift with my purchase and I totally loved the golden combination, I have oily skin and this really stayed on my eye lids longer and without looking weird or pale. Really loved it! didn't expect to like it this much plus its tiny packaging can fit anywhere.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great If Used Wet I bought this eyeshadow the other day and I tried it and I hated it. You couldn't tell you had anything on. I thought geeze how poorly pigmented. Then I had an idea. I tried it using a wet eyeshadow brush and wow! Huge difference! Now I love this eyeshadow but I can only use it with a wet brush. I don't care though because the colors I got are so pretty. I got the one that has like a mint green in it. I selected good pigmentation because when using it wet it does have good pigmentation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Price I was in serveal drug stores I been eyeing the L'oreal Colour Riche Eyeshadow in Cookie and Cream eyeshadow palette its can range anywhere for $12.99 to $15.00 in Canadian I really want it but passed on it until it goes on sale. I got an emailed from ELF for discounts or new products. I went on the website I looked at all the products until this caught my eyes it was their Elf Brightening Eyes Color in Drama only for $1.00. I ordered it every eye brightening colors from the essentials line and few from their studio lines. When my order came in I tested it out the Drama palette, 3 out of the 4 colors had good pay off. The white barely showed up on my skin tone. I wore Drama out one night my friend stopped and asked me where did I got the sparkly black eyeshadow from was it Mac, Sephora or from The Bay counters and I told her it was from ELF only for $1.00. I told her to go onto the website and checked it out.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great day look Honestly I only bought this because of the Great price. I have ethereal and drama. they both work great and blend well. The color is good for a more laid down neutral look because the colors are very soft. I'm not 100% sure on how well it will last on its own it because I only used it with a primer. But that being said it has lasted all day for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love it! Just beware... I absolutely love these eyeshadows! You will need primer for some (Luxe and Butternut that I've discovered) because without you can't really tell you have anything on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Secretly great for brows! I've been searching high and low for the perfect powder to fill in my blonde brows. I use the NYX brow pencil for the outer portion of my eyebrows, but couldn't find a powder to do the inside of my brows with. While doing my eyeshadow from this set, I decided to try the second darkest and darkest colors of the Butternet set- IT LOOKED GREAT! The colors stay on my brows all day while still looking soft and natural. Highly recommended for blondes filling in their eyebrows! As for using it as sold, make sure you have a great primer. I use the elf eyeshadow sticks for primer and a bit of a base color. The colors pop a lot better that way! Oh- and throw away the applicator and buy some cheap shadow brushes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from hit or miss but overall really good! I have this quad in nouveau neutrals and I love it. Just know that online and in real life they are very different. There are two colors in this quad, a light nude and a shimmery light brown that I love. I use the light color on my lid and the brown in my crease/outer corner. The brown is not very pigmented but thats what I like about it becuase it gives the perfect natural eye/no makeup makeup look. The other colors are a light blue and a dark green which I dont care for. I loved this quad when I was a beginner with makeup, so if you are new with makeup and looking for something natural definitely check out this quad!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Value I bought this a few days ago and I am happy with the quality for the cost, but without applying a good primer first, the eye shadow does appear chalky and un-pigmented, as the previous reviews say. I recommend Australis eye primer if you can get your hands on it! Don't bother with the applicator, I'd suggest getting a cheap eyeshadow brush. Hope this helps!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Product I thought the product was good, not great. Due to the fact that there is low pigmentation. But, it is small, good for travel, and it's only $1! I definitely would say it's a good deal for its price. I would not recommend Butternut if you're wanting a high pigmentation. But if you're going for a more natural look, it's great! I also got Silver Lining, which I haven't gotten much of a chance to really try it, but the purples in that pack are really good! Love the pigmentation for my fair skin.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Good I started ordering from this site in March. In every order, this came as the free gift for referring 3 friends during checkout. They sent this (in the color Butternut) as the free gift every time.I'm a medium brown color (think of Meagan Good's skin color). I have yet to use it with an eyeshadow primer, but it works pretty well. They don't show up that much on me, but they add a nice wash of shimmer and color. I like using the peachy-nudish color on my lid and the darkest color in the crease. They're good for adding a little bit of dimension back to the eyes that the foundation covers up.When you swipe your brush over it, you can see the smooth chalky texture build, but it goes on nicely. My little applicator kept on falling out every time I opened it, so I just threw it away. I prefer brushes anyway. The only thing I sort of dislike is that it kind of irritates my skin. My skin has never gotten irritated from makeup (and I use a lot of makeup), so I don't know what the problem is. It's not super irritating. It's just that my brow bone gets a little itchy every time I use it up there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GREAT PAYOFF, SMALL PACKAGE! I have these in Butternut & Drama, they are so fun! The colors combos are so nicely matched, so many looks are possible with these colors. They are also small enough to throw in my makeup bag for on the go looks and touch ups.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value for the money! I bought this eyeshadow in the color drama a while ago. I really like the colors, it has god pigments and last a long time. But you need to use another brush to make it look god. And it's really cheap.
